To Bambi and Tristan, Dave looked like he went insane after causing Interdimensional Dislocation at the worst time. Bambi just observed, not caring. Tristan was worried for Dave. Maldo had no idea what was happening.

They couldn’t see what Dave saw, no- they didn’t see that horrible, red, haunting creature surround Dave every chance it could. They couldn’t see the faces it would make at them when they weren’t looking. They didn’t see the faces it made at Dave when they weren’t looking. Whenever they saw him, it would hide itself from sight, but whisper things in his ear until he couldn’t bear it any longer. Deities above, some days he regretted creating it- but it was all an accident! An unfortunate result of an experiment! He didn’t have to do it, didn’t have to subject himself to THIS, but what choice did he have? Substitute his best friend? His co-worker? His own son? No, no, no. Better to let himself suffer than let anyone else suffer. He’d made the whole experiment himself, he knew the risks- he was the best suited for the job.
But oh, how he wished it would lay off him for only a day. Just ONE day. One day would be enough of a mercy for him- but his creation never relented, never listened. It made him irritable, made him paranoid; and by the gods, it knew that very well.
Once, he’d snapped- only once. His creation laughed at him then, the punch he’d thrown completely missing its eye. It cackled in his ears, screamed in his face, mercilessly torturing him the rest of that day. By the end of that day, when the sun hid behind the trees and the crickets came out to chirp, he had collapsed on his bed and screamed into his pillow.
Now, all he could do was sit there. Sit there and accept the torrent of noise that flooded his ears, his face, his lungs, everything.
He didn’t know what to do.

Bambi, Tristan and Maldo still don’t know what caused Dave to look insane. Tristan tried to walk towards Dave to try and see what was happening, but Bambi instinctively pulled Tristan back.
“Not safe.” Bambi told Tristan.
“BUT DA-“ “No. I protect you. I’ll take care of this.” Bambi reassured Tristan. As Bambi walked in front of Maldo and 4 feet from Dave, right side of the wheelchair, Dave was suddenly pushed out of his wheelchair by an invisible force. Dave was now on his knees and hands, looking like he was crying.
Tristan immediately ran to the left of Dave, and infront of him, 7 feet away.
“DAD!!!” Tristan cried out to Dave. …no response.
”Tristan, I say. Stay with the robot.” Bambi told Tristan. ”it’s maldo.” Maldo meanwhile said to Bambi.
Tristan ignored Bambi. “DAAAAAAD!!! DAAAAAAAADDD!!!” Tristan kept calling out to Dave.

Meanwhile, the invisible force grabbed Dave by the neck and stood him up. He still couldn’t speak out. Poor Dave…
Dave heard muffled speech infront of him, but couldn’t make it out, nor is he able to talk back.
Then, it appeared in front of him.
[CAN’T SPEAK? SHOULD I LET YOU GO?] It asked Dave sarcastically, Dave unable to answer back for quite obvious reasons.
[EHHH… GUESS NOT.] It said, continuing to hold Dave by the neck.
[disabled and POWERLESS, CAN’T EVEN GIVE ME WHAT I WANTED.] It told itself and reminded Dave at the same time with that.
