Hello, I'm @-Expo! I'm a veteran Scratcher and member of the Scratch translation team who has been on Scratch ever since I was four (a long time ago!) Edit: Definitely not trying to say that anyone would be a bad host! I just think this could be settled better.

I think holding up the process is rash enough. bandit, allen, I ask that you examine yourselves. all the other managers have prayed about this and settled for facundo. The curators prayed about this and settled for facundo. is there any ulterior motive within you? jealosy? you have nothing to loose if you go with facundo. you have everything to loose if you go against God's word.

okay, i'm sorry for stepping in again but I don't think its right to just say that they might have ulterior motives holding them back. We are brothers and sisters in Christ and God knows all our hearts; we want what's best for the studio and for all to agree on the best decision. They have also been praying about it. We are seeking God's guidance and I don't believe praying about it is holding up the process negatively.

Well, we could just make a project in which people comment their candidate, then count the votes. Of course, there wouldn’t be anonymity, but idc who votes for me or not.
However, it is worth mentioning that in the beginning, we agreed not to campaign, for the reason that we shouldn’t have the curators as opposed to the managers voting. The curators can join in the discussion, but they shouldn’t drive it or be the deciding factor in the process. One of the reasons is that some people, like NerdPresident, are obviously not seeking God’s guidance in this (in his case, because he is an atheist).

I would also like to say, I don’t have some ulterior motive here, I simply don’t have peace about the situation right now.

also this is not to say he can't be host. the host doesn't have to be extremely active. he would be president of the studio so verse of the week could become verse of the month if he wanted it that way. it's just that most people that age on scratch are bound to up and leave within a few years, and if anything you want a long term host

I don't see what else there is to talk about, we've discussed denomination, activity, how much they qualify, experience, knowledge, etc. Pretty much everyone (except for the people who want to be host) agree Expo should become host, and holding a poll would likely still result in Expo winning. Why haven't we come to a resolution yet? What more is there?
