Whta does it mean if I try to invited a curator to my studio but it keeps saying ‘'cannot add curator’'?

It means you can't add them as a curator.
In all seriousness, though, I don't think New Scratchers are able to create or join studios, and New Scratchers without confirmed emails DEFINITELY can't. If they aren't a New Scratcher, I have no clue though.
