Hi! Im trying to get a sprite from my old project and code and costume. I try to import it into the backpack, and it says “Loading…” for about 5 seconds and then it says “Error loading backpack”. Does anyone know why?

There is a couple reasons on why this can happen. Most commonly, internet connection is the culprit. If you had that, check for many tabs open at once. Having multiple things running can slow it down and cause an error. Then there is scratch server overloads. If too many people are on scratch at once, these glitches can happen. Although I can dive deeper into some HTML aspects of this, these would probably be what caused it. If not, usually closing scratch and waiting an hour or so and then coming back can make it work. Computers that are on for awhile can sometimes cause things like backpacks, project loading, profile followers and studios, and messages to not load properly. Hope this helps for when it happens!

This might be a problem with scratch itself because the same thing happens to me

I can't put anything in my backpack in Scratch, and it making me scared because I have fnf projects to make on scratch and others.

Also I've seen that recently created projects aren't shown on the main profile page, but are seen everywhere else, but that could just be me.

Hello mrbuilder! The same if happening to me, I think that it's a bug, and it is happening to a lot of users, try exporting the thing you need and then importing it to another project!

It is still not working for me and others

It's a bug. Backpacks aren't working. The ST is working on fixing it.
In the meantime, export what you want, and import it into your project.
In case of scripts, put the scripts into a sprite and export it as a sprite.3

IT WAS WORKING 2 SECONDS AGO NOW ITS NOT WORKING

Same thing happened to me today. I was trying to get a costume into my backpack, but it just said “Error loading backpack”. Even when I tried to delete something from my backpack.
