I have heard that there is a hacker on scratch is this true?

It is possible to be hacked on scratch if your account password is compromised, but I am unaware of any singular hacker.
If you don't want to be hacked, keep your password strong and secure.

Yes, this is true. I'm not going to name but one person got hacked very recently and probably many more people. This has been going for a long time now with hackers. Sadly this is the reality we have to face.

To add onto what @-Valtren- said, make sure not to put our scratch passwords on any websites other than scratch or share it.

There are hackers. Not one singular hacker.

There will always be hackers, that's just the harsh reality. Sadly, there isn't much we can do about it either… I myself, as an ethical hacker, find it hard to locate users performing malicious activities on the site because it's extremely difficult to truly know who is performing these actions. However, we just have to trust that the ST to help control the matter. Please always remember to use a password with a variety of letters, numbers, and special characters. Assuming that the hackers are using the Brute Force method of hacking accounts, a strong password such as ‘!@GrEEn2414!@$’ should do the trick in saving your account from potential harms and threats. Most importantly, NEVER share your passwords with anyone.

there may be a hacker, but there isn't A hacker. to my knowledge, there's no one important specific hacker that's very active right now.

no, they meant that there is no one singular hacker, there are many multiple hackers (im not sure if that made sense).

That is, if your password is on a list of common passwords, or list of compromised passwords, anyone can easily access your account. And that's just one of many ways to access an account.
Add a comma to your password if possible, make it long, and make it something you can remember, but no one else.
If someone hacked Scratch itself, we'd be in trouble.

i checked my password's strength one time, it said it takes a looong time to crack, im pretty sure it was in the trillions?
so is that good?

Make your password secure, get those numbers and symbols in there, treat your password like your tooth brush, don't let anyone have it, and get a new one every 6 months (or sooner)

There isn't just a hacker, but unfortunately, yes, hackers on Scratch do exist. There's no reason to stress over it too much tho.
Just make sure you have a strong password and NEVER I mean NEVER click suspicious links OR give out deeply personal info (phone number, password, email etc.) And you should be fine.

yea, but it's not really something to worry about.
there's no incentive to hack someones scratch account, especially if you aren't a popular creator

Especially on Scratch, where not only is it a bad idea, but a reportable offense (which, if repeated, or giving out something extremely personal or inappropriate in the process, can get you banned).
