What will be in Scratch 4.0 version? Will the Scratch website update automatically?

This is currently unknown (and there is no way that it's releasing in 2025). Also, what do you mean by the second sentence?

Probably if the user will need to download something to get the next scratch.

Well, the purple was added way after 3.0.
3.0 released to take advantage of HTML and JS, but was rushed in the end as Flash was losing support.

Well i think they should make a 3.x cause they haven't done .x versions since the releases of scratch from May 15, 2007 to July 10, 2012 (that was 1.x time). Anyways about Scratch 4.0 do you think the mobile editor (3.0 mobile) support will be deprecated or it will just change to 4.0?
Consider though that 3.0 was going to use Flash as well. Do you think that 4.0 could be planned to use HTML and Javascript and then they would have to change it like they did with 3.0. 3.0's latest update was made to the website and online editor on June 28, 2023. That was a while from the update preceding it, the May 18, 2020 which only changed parts of the editor. Do you think that when 4.0 releases it will take some time to make updates? Or will it be frequent like the 2019 updates? How would .sb4 work?

overall, scratch 4.0 will contain many features, and i obviously cannot predict all of them, but here are a few:

blocks
scratch 4.0 will quite possibly contain many different blocks. i predict there will be at least 125 of them, and possibly more in extensions. speaking of which:

extensions
it is very likely that scratch 4.0 will contain extensions, to allow you to more things with your projects. some very useful extensions could include “pen”, letting you draw with your sprites; “music”, letting you play instruments and drums; and maybe even “translate”, letting you translate text into many different languages.

sprites/backdrops
for the convenience of scratchers, scratch 4.0 may include pre-made sprites/backdrops. some possible pre-made sprites could be “Cat”, “Cat Flying”, “Cat 2”, “Dustin”, and “Gobo”. some backdrops may include “Field At Mit”, “City With Water”, “Xy-grid” and “Xy-grid-20px”.

forums
it seems extremely likely that scratch 4.0 will contain forums, like previous versions. it will probably have subforums such as “Questions about Scratch”, “日本語”, “Connecting to the Physical World” and “Advanced Topics”.

We don't know

The Scratch Team does not have any plans of making Scratch 4.0 and have not started making it, not as far as we know, anyway.
