#2 and #3 are not Linux. Mac OS X and iOS are based on Darwin, which is based on BSD Unix.

That Control Center tweak looks useful. What is it called? Found it. It doesn't support iOS 8.1 or iPad.

I have an Android tablet however can't take a picture. Also, I could get a Linux OS running on a virtual machine or dual-boot on our computer but my parents won't allow me to

Let's see: iOS is based off Mac OS X. OS X originated from Nextstep (Rhapsody). Mac OS X can run Bash and you can use Darwine.

Also, Darwin might be based on Unix.

Can you take a screenshot on your tablet? Usually is “Power + Volume Down”.

And yes, I have it. It was on sale for $0.10 around November - December last year.

Maybe this is the right place to brag about how I got Bootlace to work on my old iPhone since technically thats linux.

Bootlace itself is not Linux, but you're able to install Android on your iPhone with it

Mac and iOS aren't Linux; they're based on Darwin, which is based on UNIX.
