use this topic for discussion of peep and the big wide world, a canadian children's animated tv show that ran from 2004 to 2011! although it was on different channels during different time periods, it's most well known for having aired on pbs kids from 2010 to 2021.

quite a few people on scratch seem to be nostalgic for this show like me, so i decided to make this topic. i consider it to be the early 2000s version of bluey, in that it's a kids show that is incredibly entertaining to watch no matter one's age. the 20th anniversary of peep and the big wide world is also coming up on april 12th, 2024, so i thought now would be a good time to make this topic. hopefully this topic can give this somewhat underrated show some much-needed attention!

I miss back when my sister watched this show. I always loved to think the big blue duck was like my dad.

I enjoyed this in my past child-hood personally, and to this day I still enjoy the show.

anyone remember the episode where chirp met another bird and found out about flying south, and then proceeded to get all excited about “south” even though she had literally no idea what “south” actually meant?

today is the 20th anniversary of peep and the big wide world’s first episode! the first episode, spring thing, debuted on april 12th, 2004.

if pbs kids doesn’t acknowledge this on social media, i’m gonna be mildly agitated.

they did acknowledge its anniversary in 2023 so hopefully it’ll happen but we’ll see
