Ability to report an account for “This account has been made for the purpose of trolling”

So, scratch doesn’t want people to report users for their behavior as it is said to report the specific comments that are breaking the guidelines. However I’m suggesting that there should be an option to report accounts made for the sole purpose of trolling/ban-speedrunning/etc, because it’d be more effective then reporting the individual comments the user made since the account is made for trolling so pretty much all the comments are breaking cg

How would the ST member know that the account was made for trolling? Unless the username was innapropriate or it was somehow given away in the WIWO/about me, theres no way a ST member could know without seeing the comment.

I don't believe so, although I might be wrong about that
still, this would incentivise users to use that button rather then using report on comments, which means that the mass reporting mechanism cannot trigger on the comments and thus leaving the comments up for longer

I’m actually rethinking this maybe this wasn’t as good of an idea because some people would report users who aren’t ban-speedrunning or made for the purpose of trolling and that would slow down the process of reviewing actual valid reports. and reporting comments that these kind of accounts made is probably good enough.

you are indeed wrong about that, the st can very well see what comments a user has made, along with what comments were flagged to the report queue by the filter
