Add Itch Cat to Scratch. (A Serious Suggestion)

To whom of the “Scratch Team” it may concern,

1. Agreement

1.1 These current and future “Suggestions” constitute an agreement between you and Itch Cat that governs your use of scratch.mit.edu and all associated services, including but not limited to the Scratch Day and ScratchX websites (collectively “Scratch”). The Itch Cat is part of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group in the Media Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (“MIT”). Please read these Terms carefully. By using this (“Design”) you affirm that you have read, understood, and accepted potential effects in the Forum Suggestion. If you do not agree with any of these conditions, you may ignore this message.

2. Definitions

- Itch Cat: Refers to the proposed new Scratch Cat design submitted by the anonymous brown cat.
- Scratch Team: Refers to the team responsible for maintaining and developing the Scratch platform.

3. Submission

By accepting the design for Itch Cat, you acknowledge that you are the original creator of this design. I grant the Scratch Team the right to review, evaluate, and potentially incorporate Itch Cat into the Scratch platform.

4. Acceptance

By submitting the final design for Itch Cat, you (“Scratch Team”) signify your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from submitting the design.

5. Proposal for the Inclusion of “Itch Cat” Design

Dear Esteemed Members of the Scratch Team,

I hope this correspondence finds you in good health and high spirits. I, an anonymous brown cat, humbly submit this formal proposal for your esteemed consideration.

As an ardent enthusiast of the Scratch platform, I have undertaken the creative endeavor of conceptualizing a new character design—an embodiment of feline ingenuity and digital artistry. Allow me to introduce to you the delightful creation: “Itch Cat.”

I hereby propose that “Itch Cat” be officially incorporated into the Scratch ecosystem. His presence would undoubtedly enhance the Scratch experience, fostering a sense of camaraderie among users and sparking innovative projects.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the Scratch Team is based.

Huh? This is suggestion as serious as a very serious thing! I mean, it's in the title. The design is meant to be playful, such as the already existing “Scratch Cat!” My mind's already set on it.
