The New Raspberry Pi Topic

I love raspberry pi, but the old topic hasn't been used since like 2022, so I made this one
This is a place to share and come up with ideas for the pi, you can also talk about similar products like the Orange Pi
I have a pi 4 and pi pico w, what do you guys have?

I have a Raspberry Pi 4b with 2 gigabytes of ram.
How much ram does your Raspberry Pi 4b have?

Okay, nice! Do you have any projects for it in mind?

On mine I want to run server projects.

I'm planning to use my Pi 4B as a server for something that's coming soon. (It's related to Snazzle)
I'll need to get a Compute Module 4 and a heck ton of storage. At that rate I might as well just get a Pi 5 lol but we'll see.

const juniper = programmer && musician;
// my pronouns are she/her
// i am trans and bi :P
// you can call me june or juni for short but i prefer juniper
python version:
juniper = programmer and musician
# my pronouns are she/her
# i am trans and bi :P

For the price of that thing you can better get a SSD for a lower price but waaay higher speeds!
Keep in mind the speeds of the usb adaptor, unless you use a RPI 5 who has a PCI adapter build in (I dont know if it supports nmve though)

If you want to selfhost, Here is a handy link to the power consumption of the RPi.

Nice thing about RPi's is that they are very low in power consumption.

if you are pllaning to make a server, check out the turing pi 2. it has 4 module slots (which you cant directly attach the cm4 but adapters are there), nvme support, and a buttload more

aII toasters toast toast, but what happens when there are no longer toasters being produced? will their technology simply become obsolete, with humans moving onto bigger, better things? will toast become a distant memory, written in textbooks of the future as foods us simpler generations ate? who's to say! society is constantly moving, changing, evolving, ideas being built upon, improved upon, theories being proven or disproven. are we but a blip on the timeline? sure, our names may not be remembered, but that's not the point. you can make a change. you can make a difference. you can make the world better, even if you don't know yet. and the first step is to go for it. even if you are afraid of failure. going back to the example of toasters, do you know off the top of your head who invented them? no? have you used one? probably. so, even if you don't remember my name, if I was able to help awnser your question, that is enough. if I was able to help you, even in the slightest way, this could push you to continue with scratch and not give up after the program crashes, and maybe one day learn other programming languages and change the world. everything is a cause and effect reaction, new inventions lead to the technology of the future, and even as the generations of the past are slowly forgotten, their influence lives on to this day, affecting how the world eventually turned out and how it will be for generations to come.

and, without toasters, we wouldn't have toast.

I have a raspberry pi 5, a raspberry pi 4b, a raspberry pi 400 and two raspberry pi zero was. So far I've just been using them as servers for python code for cloud projects on scratch.(The servers are all down because one of my SD cards got corrupted and I haven't rewrote the code again)I use the raspberry pi 5 as my regular computer because I don't have a laptop or anything like that.

I’m thinking of running my Raspberry Pi as a server.
Anyone any experience running a RPi and the security used for it?
