Being too critical doesn't follow the Community Guidelines, as a result of Scratchers being discouraged, let's not talk about one.
Being critical does follow the community guidelines as long as its respectful. As long as we don't attack you or anything related to you and only discuss the suggestion itself, its all ok.

The whole point of the suggestions forums is to discuss about the the suggestions, if we don't be critical, then won't we possibly miss out on a flaw a suggestion might have?
Exactly.
For example, saying
“This suggestion is kinda dumb (insert reason here)”
Is okay, but
“You’re dumb”
Is not okay.

Because criticizing the suggestion isn’t the same as criticizing the suggestor

I don't really understand why you get muted when your “points” are under 30, because then you can't even break the rules. it sounds good in hindsight, but then most people would just be stuck in this “limbo state” where they never get banned, even when they definitely should be

what I also find funny is the fact that you can technically break a rule that just barely gets your account blocked every 10 days, and not getting banned for it.

anyway no support, I think it's a little harsh to block a user based on what gets taken down, especially when some users don't know something is against the CG/TOU

well, that's already a problem with the current system — besides, if I commit a felony that I just happen to “not know,” I'd still get arrested

I know somebody would just brag about the score. But, this could make people feel really sad. Or make people not like Scratch anymore, or make them think Scratch hates them. This will just bring a lot of sadness to a lot of people.

I would say how they'd redeem, but turns out I just missed some of it. Regardless, no support, concerned this could cause AI misfires.

Because how do you go up past 29 if you are banned from commenting? How do you get after that when you went under 30?!

I mean, I'd pay to have something like this. Suppose after you got muted you got some of your points back, and every successive mute takes away more points

I donated 1$USD to the Scratch foundation, which automatically makes me better than 98% of the scratch poulation.
Perhaps donating an Internet will get you to the 2% club

you do realize this just tallies your bad things done??

dont just say “dont ban evade” or “wrong topic” for a question. answer it, and THEN tell them that this is the wrong topic or not to ban evade. giving just “rejected” and putting the college essay that is TOLORS is not enough. Explain! dont just use ctrl-c ctrl-v! even if it is not what some people want, explain the rejection! answer the question! the forums are not a place to repeat others, they are a place to innovate! anyway who wants to minimod?

scratchers on the forums from 10-500 posts have at most, a 7 short sentence span for replies. if you cant keep your posts in this range, then dont act suprised when someone asks for simplified version

Knife rant:
Spending lots of money on carving knives has never made sense to me I've used the same $20 Morakniv since 2018 and as long as I sharpen it regularly it is still sharp enough for carving and basically any other task. I'm sure I'm the only person on the forums who cares about any of that but thanks for reading I guess.

If you're down here comment “forumers be like” on my profile

They gain 10 points without rule-breaking for a day

Everyone, I understand your concern about below 30 pts paused from commenting. I am changing the flaws, now at 0 pts, the comments will instead be paused for some time, then increased by 30 pts when the comment paused expires. If they get 0 pts 3 times, then they will get blocked.

I am a new poster, I am a bit sensitive to criticism.

I learn mistakes when the post doesn't go good. It is important to be respectful when sending criticism.

This would take a long time to update onto Scratch…

Anyway, no support.
So either Scratch Team (ST) would have to add and take away points manually (which would take a long time)
or
We would have to wait for Scratch to get funds and wait for another 1+ yrs for ST to update it
and upload it onto Scratch.

So yea, thanks for reading <33

Isn’t this from arpg games

Anyway if they behave badly they’ll know they’ll probably get banned and a meter system isn’t needed
