I let a Game between Scurious 2.11 and GoK run from the Gme yesterday and GoK played 7 Blunders on my System :https://lichess.org/j1tLUL5Y#86
Also Scurious sacrificed its Rook and Bishop and Stockfish completely approved whilst GoK dissaproved for a While.

Not a good game from GoK. Even GoK makes errors when it comes out of its opening book too early (that’s usually a White Dove thing).

I was supposing this is TW like the other games you played? Checkmate in #4, that was a close call. But it must be an immensely slow system. On my machine, GoK does not even consider 22. g3 for a second, and if it had done, depth 8 would have shown the checkmate, and that is covered in 2 seconds.
The blunders of both engines are mainly the same - moving in and out of a checkmate sequences both don't see. The most interesting blunder is the first one at move 19 - and that one GoK prevents after 31 seconds on my machine, slightly out of Difficult think time, so it would require competition mode.
Was Scurious on Ply 4 or 5? I wonder how Scurious think time was, I know it is fast, but so is GoK. Do you still have the GoK logfile? It seems GoK was limited to below ply 8 due to low system performance, and that is not really the expected operations mode for GoK Difficult on TW - it will act more like Blitz 1 or 2.

In the meantime, GoK (white) drew this game against Stockfish 16 level 7. GoK up 3 to 5, but the winning line was long and required material sacrifice. At one point GoK might have found it by accident to prevent threefold-repetition, maybe in a day or two :-) OK 50-moves-rule would have come first.

Drawing a game at 95% accuracy, with only 2 inaccuracies out of 90 moves, pains me a bit.

The final endgame position might be a fortress (drawn even though the engine says it is winning). Is there a way to verify this?Scurious was on 5 Ply, I ran GoK Difficult on TW + Turbo mode.https://lichess.org/j1tLUL5Y#86*snip* I let a Game between Scurious 2.11 and GoK run from the Gme yesterday and GoK played 7 Blunders on my System :

Why is GoK playing weird openings lately?

could someone explain me Tapered Eval? im interested in adding it to Scurious 2.1
I am deeply regretting naming my Chess Engine SCURIOUS????? The Name is so bad and I am forced to stare at it everytime I try to make Progress. What was I thinking a few Months ago.

It is interpolating evaluation between midgame and endgame evaluation, by weight of current material. I have seen some implementations, they simply invoke evaluation twice, once for midgame, once for endgame, and interpolate between the two results.

Admittedly, Scurious does need better endgame play and repetition detection as well

Yes, I am a Chrome User.https://lichess.org/analysis/), not on a stored game.It works on my PC Is it just me, or did you also lose that lichess.org analysis board feature that would show you the next best move via a blue arrow once you activate local evaluation? I now have to hover over a variation in the PGN moves panel, and that only appears during live analytics (
Are you using Chrome?
I tried the same studies / analysis boards on Edge, and there they worked fine. So it's a browser issue with my Chrome version.

White Dove v7.01 has been released!
It's just a slight endgame improvement, but this hopefully helps WD in tricky positions!
