Following Limit
HiIt's not-No i agree that we should not follow anyone we see evem though it makes them feel good still it does not make any senseThat sounds, sarcastic, and I hope it is
I’ve seen someone with 11000 people followingI think there should be a following limit of about 1000 becausewhat if your following over 1000
-Stop Follow-Everybody accounts
-Stop accounts that are following people for no reason because I saw someone who's following over 5000 people I'm not joking
-Have less F4F but it isn't completely banned
bans would be unfair and ST making you unfollow certain people would annoy them

If someone asks you to do follow for follow, and you do not want to, just politely decline their request. If they keep spamming you with requests, you can use the Report button on their comments.

So adding a limit for follows will:
- Really harshly limit f4f
- Stop follow everybody accounts
- Ban a few users (or at least make then unfollow people) that did nothing wrong.
Follow everybody accounts and just following people has no harm. It may annoy you, but if some random troll is using 9999 accounts to give you a new unread mail record, then just use the REPORT BUTTON!

I think there should be a following limit of about 1000 because
-Stop Follow-Everybody accounts
-Stop accounts that are following people for no reason because I saw someone who's following over 5000 people I'm not joking
-Have less F4F but it isn't completely banned
Why not just a ban on “i follow everyone” accs? Like chainmail, you see it, report it and they get a warning and the acc is deleted/deactived, instead of a follower limit. I’m following almost 1000 accs and I check in on almost all of them every 2 months or so. So im with you on everything but the follow limit.

Nope. If other users want to follow others let them be. There are worse things in the world like studio invites, trolls, spammers and worst of all violent AND popular projects.

But seriously, I know that. But, putting a limit on something that's harmless is just not necessary. Again, you can just use the report button if somebody is trolling you with notifications.

No support. If people want to follow other people at random why stop them? Every one uses Scratch in different ways and why should there be policing to people who want to follow everyone in an attempt to make others happy(even if it's a weak one). Follow everyone accounts aren't hurting anyone. Before you say Scratch isn't about popularity look at the front page. It can be discouraging to be rejected curration or featured or never be top remixed/loved but those sections are still up. People can ask for F4F if they want to, if you don't just say no, however it's when they push you after you say no it becomes a problem that you can just report.yessss

“people have broke the limit” provides no relevant information, I could also say “you are all legally obliged to give me 10 dollars”, but without any proof, it means nothing.
I do believe class accounts can break the limit, but I am unsure about this (and its rare that they would do that anyways, the only situation which I can think of is for namesnipes, I don't know if that account is deleted or not though)

There is already a following limit. A single user can follow a maximum of 10K people.That is very incorrect. Just look at @griffpatch , @Will_wam , or @Crystalkeeper7 and you'll be proven wrong.
Go check out my game crystal platformer~! 1/5 of the people who play it LOVE it!
It has 100+ hours of work, been called “cool” “non-generic” “amazing” “actually sick” “awesome” “Incredible” and so much more by the fans! Currently there are 16 rooms, enemies, a dedicated studio, A spectate mode, and 2 cutscenes! :D

currently there's a limit of 10,000 scratchers but the limit might be there because nobody wants to click the follow button and see this message:

remember scratchers who have had an account for a while but most follower accounts say they are follower accounts so report that part of the description but 1,000 is also a good limit because most people won't reach that limit. after all, follow accounts are not allowed
