Time Spent in Editor
Hey there! Quick announcement that this very well could be a duplicate! Sorry! I checked and couldn't find any.
Overall Suggestion: I think that there should be a feature where you can see how long you've worked on a project.
The Details: The timer will reset once you've gone to another tab (not sure if that is feasible, though, please disregard this aspect if it wouldn't work).
It will be in the corner of the editor.
The time will not show in the project, and no other users will see it.
There would be an x for users that do not want to see how long they have been working.
Why?: Sometimes I want to see how long I have been working on a project, and I think others have too!
Workaround: You can set a timer another way.
Response: True, but this would be right there and easier to use without hassle.

I recommend reading jvvg's essay about the scratch team before complaining, as it may change your opinion and provide insight on the topic.

Would this be an option? And it would bother me that people are flexing that they spent 900 trillion minutes in a white and purple coding editor website.

Yep! It would be completely optional. It would be off by default, and would say “Click to show time” or something like that, and then once it's on, you would click the x if you change your mind, and it would repeat like that. Good point, however, there are many other things that people can brag about, and the project would be judged on it's quality, not how long someone spent on it alone. Would this be an option? And it would bother me that people are flexing that they spent 900 trillion minutes in a white and purple coding editor website.

You shouldn't add this part since when I usually leave the tab while editing, it's to look for an image or download/edit a sound effect I want to use in game. I assume its the same for some other people. The Details: The timer will reset once you've gone to another tab (not sure if that is feasible, though, please disregard this aspect if it wouldn't work).
It will be in the corner of the editor.

I would think that the timer would not reset if you were just working on the project that you duplicated. I often duplicate projects to make new versions if i save a project as a copy would it add time.

Probably the upper right. I'm making a mockup.
Which corner of the editor are you thinking of?

yeah probably, and without really implementing anything either — you either look at the time or don't look at the time. (unless I'm misunderstanding something)

this speaks for itself:
