Digital's SWC thread

My hobbit hole is one of the sorts, with plenty of plants, such as peace lilies, forsythia, and tulips. I really enjoy reading, so books would be scattered across the ground, with some tied together with elegant twine.
It would be slightly dusty, with the sunlight clearly showing the dusts' path. It will also have a beautiful, but messy desk, with poetry scattered around.
The cellar would be filled with barrels that are mostly empty, and passageways outside, to avoid strangers and intruders. I would be highly introverted.
There would be other passageways, such as to the kitchen, because if there are any ingredients needed for any recipe that may need to be fermented, it would be easy access.

The house itself would be located in the deep woods, surrounded by thick pines, in which the house would be in a small hill covered with flowers. The house would be in a small clearing in the woods, and there would be no path to the house. Only the keeper of said house would be able to know the dense and unforgiving woods surrounding it.

Unlike most hobbit holes, the house’s inside is less reliant on dirt and stone, but has lots of wood accents and candle-lit areas. The bed would be carefully made with three blankets and three pillows, with a very tidy bookshelf. The dresser would also have a small lamp. The bedroom would also include a door into a staircase, as this hobbit house is split level. There are two bedrooms, but one of them is a dedicated office, despite not being used as much as the desk in the library.

There would also be metal accents to match the darker stained spruce wood that covers the majority of the house. The metal would be steel, and would be constantly polished, to avoid rusting. Of course, not all metal could be reached by the small hobbit’s hands, so some of the precious metal rusted and flaked over time. I suppose it is just the nature of this house though, old and dusty, but yet nice.

But the most important detail of this house is the beautiful peacock chair. Carefully crafted to perfection, it encaptures a time long forgotten, and tells mere poetry just by being placed at the poetry desk. It depicts the travels of the original owner of this house, and how they traveled long and far to be able to find the perfect clearing, then settle down.
