I might make an alt account/account for posting iterations of a game I'm working on. Are there any rules about this?

I don't think so. Many people have alt accounts and even “joke” accounts, and they don't seem to be restricted in any way.

You can make as many alt accounts as you wish to, as long as you don't use it for bad things.

I have different alt accounts such as @NTB-laboratory and @NilsTheBest_FR where I post things that I don't want to post on my main (and not gonna lie, I've also got a few namesnipes hehe), and that's completely fine. Some Scratch Team members also have alt accounts, so no worries ^^

Keep in mind that you should “behave” if you create alternate accounts.

What I mean is, if you create multiple accounts, don't love and favorite all your projects. The Scratch Team may catch on, and there could be consequences.

Other than that, simply having more than one account is not inherently against the Community Guidelines.

It’s allowed. Even griffpatch has an alternate account!

You may have as many accounts as you like as long as you don't have too many (which can cause IP bans) and/or you use them as you would a main. Also, sockpuppeting, which is the act of going around a block or ban with one of your accounts is not allowed either. Don't use your accounts to love and favorite all your projects just to get them popular. There are joke accounts also, where people pretend to be characters from TV shows, their OCs, etc.
If it's just posting iterations of your game, you should be alright, as that would be properly handling an alternative. As long as you don't abuse your second account, it should be fine and should work if has an email address.

You can have as many account as you wish! Just keep in mind that if you get banned on one account, and go onto the other account, that one account can get banned as well, or even receive an ip ban, which results in a ban of everyone who has a Scratch account that was created in your house.

Are you allowed to make, say a profile that posts versions of a specific game? (Ex: A game has been filling up main profile, so the example person makes a mostly dedicated account) That probably won’t happen, but just in case…

Just like everyone else has previously stated, you can have multiple accounts, as long as you do nothing bad.

I have 3 accounts, a main, a storage, and a test account. It's allowed, there's no rules about it.
