Ilex, what did you have in mind for the matching autism profile pictures?
you mentioned using people's OCs I think right, but I had an idea,
maybe you could make a project for the matching profile pictures with like a colour palette or an example to work off of, so that people who want to make their own can use that, and maybe other people could also get Autism Month pfp requests drawn by you if you're up for that? or even just straight up a selection of matching pfps for anyone to use with credit?
because I think it's a really cool idea, and your art is really good, but I'd like to draw my own autism pfp (at least for some of the month) to represent who I am individually, but would also love for it to match with other people - either through similar artstyles or the colours matching - so it would be great to have a source for that.
and also if you're up for making matching profile pictures FOR people then I bet a lot of people that didn't see your post about it would love one (may be managers, or even curators who see the studio when it's featured, depending on who you'd want to draw for) and some kind of requests project could maybe help with that? idk
just an idea, no pressure whatever you decide to do

one of the easiest ways to make them cohesive but still individualistic would probably be to have a set group of hex codes for specific colours to use

hi I haven't checked with other managers but I'm guessing if you're interested we'd be happy to have you along
we decided that just autistic people should do the information about autism etc., but non-autistic allies can still help out with managing the studio, moderating, things like that
so you're welcome to be invited if you want, if you think this would be something you're up for doing (bearing in mind it is quite a big time commitment)

I would love to help out! I’m a class chairman, and I hope I can gain knowledge about autism to support my classmates!

i have an idea!!

what if, as part of the curator form, we ask “what is one way scratch could better accommodate to you?” and collect the responses anonymously and share results after the month is over? (this question could be answered by anyone regardless of neurotype)

or alternatively maybe like “what makes Scratch accessible/accommodating to you” (as a way to see what people find most important)

i would also like to draw my own probably, though it depends. and the accommodation question is a really great idea! I think maybe both can be in the form? people can pick just one or do both

wait I'm not sure if someone said this already but hear me out:

maybe in the description we could add a list of most used tone tags and why they are helpful?

I'm guessing there won't be space for that in the description but you could def make a project about it and add it to the studio

ok so are we thinking…
to be invited, there should be 1 form (along the same lines as last year) and 1 option to make a project, and this is explained in the “how to join” section by Ballerina
the form includes an (optional) question “What is one way scratch could better accommodate to you?” and/or “What makes Scratch accessible/accommodating to you” (possibly so you can pick one or the other)
maybe with an explanation that we will collect the responses anonymously and share results after April is finished (this is why it should be optional to answer in case people don't want their response collected)

this was last year's form
To join, simply fill out this form!

Username (no @)// Nickname// Pronouns// Activity level (from 1-5)// Are you Autistic?// Are you Neurodivergent in any other way?// Do you know any Autistic people?// Will you follow the code of conduct?// Codeword//

based on that, I propose something maybe along these lines for this year's form? (but anyone feel free to change it with what you think would make it better)
To join, either fill out this form or make a project in support of Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month and post it in the comments!

Username (no @) // Nickname and pronouns // Are you Autistic?// Are you Neurodivergent in any other way? // Do you know any Autistic people?// Will you follow the code of conduct? // Codeword // Also, for our optional survey, if you'd like your response to be included, what makes Scratch accessible/accommodating to you? What is one way Scratch could better accommodate you?
what do y'all think?
Ballerina can explain it properly btw lol this is just an example
