Ah, MS Paint doesn't support transparent image png exports. To get transparent backgrounds, there are a few free websites like Pixilart and Piskel! I haven't used them personally yet, but they will definitely support PNG exports with transparency.
Edit: Those emojis look awesome! I bet you can open their files on one of those websites and remove the backgrounds fairly easily.

Paint actually added support for transparency in the Windows 11 2023 Update. It's still not the most ideal for pixel art, but transparency is something it can now do (if you're on Windows 11, that is).

Surprised nobody did the window yet. Unless someone did but it hasn't been added yet. Anyways, I'm not too good at pixel art but wanted to contribute to this somehow so I made that one window emoji.

It does. You can check it if on cubeupload it has the background color behind the emoji and not a solid white background, or on the Forums by dragging it onto a dark surface, like the headers of posts.
