The List of Rejected Suggestions
I feel like 7.2 could also mention that it'd cause a bit of a confliction with ToU 4.5;Interestingly I'm not able to see how ToU 4.5 is related to TOLORS 7.2. I don't think I need to reference the ToU in this specific entry.
You reckon AI generation should be added to the list? There's a whole article by the ST on why it's rejected and there's a ton of suggestions about it.I read that article, and it seemed to suggest that AI generation would not be happening any time soon, and that it needs quite a bit of work to have a place on Scratch — neither of which seems to be rejected to me. Unless you have a forum post from a Scratch Team member stating that it's rejected, I don't think I can add it to the list at this time.
would featuring less complex projects fall under 7.16?I would say so, yes.

(#8200)Fair enough, though what I mean by it being related is that if 7.2 was truly implemented, then 4.5 (ToU) would really go contradictory as to what should or shouldn't really be reported (atleast on age-restricting, the other website part wouldn't really be budged by ToU 4.5)

The List of Rejected Suggestions
The reason why I'm back so soon is because I just remembered that someone recently suggested “Remove the Suggestions forum”: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/741315/
This had been on the list in the past, but I was convinced to remove it because someone said it was not suggested often. Is it time to add this suggestion back to the list?

I don't fully understand the connection myself.

(#8202)Fair.

EDIT: Also apologies for the bad explanation - What I'm trying to say is that age restrictions would make it harder to know what'd be reportable and what wouldn't.

so, when i use this: one question: i use to code scratch projects in java eclipse ide, because the project system is coded in html scripts. i found ou that this is possible since i found ou that my - to german - nwt-lehrer - coded scratch in java eclipse IDE, which was also compatible to my windows xp since html 4.5 is not supported by scratch. therefore it is still possible to uipload by changing the link at the top or using the debug function. after finding out that i have no idea how java ide works i made it to over 3 months till i got a .json file (s) witch some svg graphics that scratch could run when i opened it in my phone (sorry) since that i then made some useles script parts and used a converter i let me made by chatgpt i code it textbased. well, i still try to search my projects and cant find them. i am not proffessional in any way and my pc laggs so i cant realy say if it looks weird when opening or the guy that made me a randomizer i should use for not get kicked a second time for too many “suspect” files in uploading, i ask myself: why should i actualy (removed by moderator - please keep it polite) what are these blacklisted projects? ps i know it could be seen a bad way that i dont use the offline editor but i use to have a radiator and not my pc for heating up my room)
also, i dont want to see that someone now aska me why my projects then look like coded, its because the randomize that lets them (hopefully) look like these. so yes it is actualy possible, and i want that i can open scratch editor on my pc now still because it is hilarious to make that many void commands and make so many exclusions. for everyone why wants to download the converter tool; i can say that this is my own converter i got from chatGPT and my friend and my hilarious will to code my projects on windows xp.
and who is responsible for making the layout of the website i have a few suggestions but idk i cant code html i just try ide and i cant even see what they look like in the end.

Does this count?yeah it'd count, might not get added to the list though, if it's not suggested often or is too obvious

I am sorry because the ST does not care about the suggestions. Same with mine.

#8209I'm not sure where you got that from, but the ST does care about every suggestion. They just don't think some are great fits for an environment like scratch.

Perhaps you could add a little blurb about banning spacific words? Paddle has made it pretty clear to use contact us for individual filter suggestions (Two examples: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/739582/ https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/741219/ ) and people seem to not exactly realize they should. I bet this is the sticky that gets visited the most often, so even if it's somewhere else, it might be nice to add it here and make people more aware
Also, sorry if it's already there! I tried to find it if there was one, but I'm not the best at reading lol
EDIT: I also don't know where you'd put it mb lol

Have they rejected dark theme? No, the Scratch Team doesn't reject things just for the fun of it. They do seriously consider suggestions before deciding if they aren't good for Scratch or if they're to hard to implement. (I assume you were worried about the latter being true for dark mode, but a suggestion for it still exists here.

I just realized, rereading that section DOES have a mention of using contact us!

I think letters in cloud variables could be moved to section 2, as well as the option for cat blocks — they're technically related to blocks, but they're really just features within the editor
