I was scrolling through Priiloader when I found a broken title in the “launch titles” menu. It was named “????????” and had a title ID of “HAAA”. I think this could be the slot where the 1.0 Photo channel would be, though I'm not exactly sure.

Don't follow this tutorial, it doesn't work. There is another tutorial that should work.

I have this idea on how to get WiiLink and RiiConnect24 (minus the Forecast and News channels, since the RC24 versions of those overwrite the Nintendo versions) on an unmodded Wii. I'm not sure if this would work but I'll say anyway.

You will need a modded Wii/vWii for this, if it works!

1. On the source modded Wii/vWii, go to Priiloader and disable the copy protection in Data Management.
2. Click Wii Options (the button in the bottom left corner of the Wii menu with the Wii logo), then Data Management. (If you are using a vWii, clicking Wii Options will put you in Data Management.)
3. Insert an empty SD card into the source modded Wii/Wii U.
4. Copy the savegames to the SD card. Repeat this process until all saves are copied. (If the Copy button is grayed out and you can't click it, follow step 1. After following step 1, you should be able to click the button.)
5. Go back, then click Channels.
6. Copy the Channels to the SD card.
7. After this process is done, exit from Wii Options and click the SD Card Menu button. (If you get an error saying "The system files are corrupted", don't panic. The Wii/vWii is thinking you were messing with the system files. Restart the Wii/Wii U and the error should disappear.)
8. Launch each Channel to make sure that both them and the savegames were copied properly.
9. Take out the SD card and put it into the target unmodded Wii/Wii U, then turn it on. (If you are using a Wii U, you will need to launch the vWii from the Wii U menu.)
10. Click the SD Card Menu button.
11. Launch each Channel to make sure both them and the savegames were copied successfully.
12. If possible, transfer the Channels and savegames from the SD card to the NAND.

Congrats! You've installed WiiLink/RiiConnect24 on an unmodded Wii/vWii! You can now use the Channels copied to your SD card well, if this tutorial works!

DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUIDE! IT WILL BRICK YOUR Wii DUE TO THE PATCHED IOS FILES!

The other method for RC24 and WiiLink on an unmodded Wii does not work after a bit of research. I have a new method:
This does not need The Homebrew Channel!
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN FOLLOWING THIS GUIDE! Since this guide is for unmodded Wiis, BootMii and Priiloader will not be present. If you install the wrong WAD, you could BRICK YOUR WII!

On Computer:

Step 1: Insert your SD card into your computer, and format it to FAT32 if it isn't already. Afterwards, get the latest version of the RiiConnect24 + WiiLink patcher.
Step 2: If you are on Windows, double click the .bat file. The patcher should run. If you are on macOS/Linux, type
cd /path/to/directory.
Then, type
chmod +x RC24_WiiLink_Patcher_macOS-x64_v2.0.1
(arm64 for M1/M2.) For Linux, this is
chmod +x RC24_WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<architecture>_v2.0.1. Replace <architecture> with your system architecture (x64 or arm64).
Finally, type
./RC24_WiiLink_Patcher_macOS-x64_v2.0.1 (arm64 for M1/M2.)
On Linux, type
./RC24_WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<architecture>_v2.0.1
(replace <architecture> with your system architecture (x64 or arm64). The patcher should run. Choose express installation for this guide, and follow along. The patcher will begin patching, and create a “wad” folder on your SD card if you didn't already.
Step 3: Go to the Open Shop Channel website, and grab a WAD manager (in this case, it will be Yet Another WAD Manager ModMii Edition, or yawmME.) If a WAD manager is already on your SD card, you can skip this step.
Step 4: Turn on the console. Go to Wii Options > Wii Settings > Internet > Console Information. You will find your Wii's MAC address, which is important for the next step.
Step 5: Go to please.hackmii.com, which, despite the name, is safe to visit. Input your Wii MAC and region, uncheck “Bundle the HackMii Installer for me!”, and cut either wire.
Step 6: Unzip the “Letterbomb.zip” file. If on Mac, just click the file and it will unzip. For Windows, use a tool like 7-Zip to unzip the file.
Step 7: Copy the “private” folder from the “Letterbomb” folder to the root of your SD card. The root is the first page you see when you open your SD card in a file explorer. Go into the WAD manager's folder, and grab the boot.dol/.elf file. Put this on the root of your SD card.

On Wii:

Step 1: Insert your SD card, and turn on the console.
Step 2: Go to the Wii message board, and look for a red letter with a bomb stuffed in it. Click this file, and you should see a black screen with white text, then a mess of colors, and finally, the WAD manager.
Step 3: Go through the process to install the .wad files from the patcher you ran.
If your Wii is not a Japanese region, install the “WiiLink SPD” before anything else. The file name contains the name of the platform you are using (in this case, an original Wii console). If it says “vWii” instead, most likely you picked “vWii” (the Wii mode in the Wii U) as your platform in the patcher. If this applies to you, shut off the console and start the patching process over again, and choose “Wii” as the platform. The WiiLink Photo Prints and Food Channels will not work without this SPD Channel.
Step 4: Exit the WAD manager after installing all Channels.
If you get an error screen when trying to exit, don't panic. WAD managers are built for use with the Homebrew Channel, so they are trying to redirect you back there. Restart the Wii.

Congratulations! You have installed RiiConnect24 and WiiLink on your unmodded Wii! You can now use the Channels you installed!

If you have a Wii you should homebrew it. There is a long list of things you can do with a homebrewed Wii, such as using old channels that were discontinued long ago, using channels that were exclusive to regions worldwide, and even play Wordle.

Update on me: Been working on a lot of homebrew applications for both the 3DS and the Wii. I'm also more active on Dizzy than on Scratch now because I use it to communicate with other programmers. I will still be on here from time to time but I'm more active on Dizzy than on Scratch.

What are the Wii apps in question?

Can someone tell me if you can play a patched game on Nintendont without ripping the ISO? To play a patch, I would rather just boot from a disc with the patch on an SD card set to load.
The patch in question is an English translation of Animal Crossing e+.

AnyFirmware Installer, ARWM-GUI, MiiMod, Raito (3ds), and I think that's all for now.

MiiMod is a Mii-Manager for the Wii which allows you to dump miis or install them to your nand. Anyfirmware installer is an unofficial mod of Waninkokos cIOS firmware downgrader with some added safety features and some additional features.

You can already dump Miis and import them using Savegame Manager GX.
