It doesn't really have to though, stuff like the color change on the header and profile pictures technically serve no “educational” purpose, except maybe teaching kids about the color wheel or something, I don't know.
the color change was for accessibility

The TADC sprites would feel out of place for me in the sprite library. We don't need to put in sprites from franchises.

I don't have the slightest clue why people think every suggestion has to have educational value. Are custom color schemes educational? Or added social features?

Just pointing out in general, I don't typically focus on educational values more than any other scratcher on every suggestion, but what purpose would a collaboration project with GLITCH make a difference in the community as a whole? I'll tell you what, it adds slightly nothing to a website like scratch. It will just make the community worse, and it will probably publicize scratch if it were to collaborate with a team from a whole different variety of platforms.

It's just not going to work IMO, and it will not improve the community of scratch. It will teach a negative variety of swears.

Yes, I understand that; this suggestion is pretty silly I was just talking overall

I agree. So is pretty much every suggestion suggested, including most of my topics.

I also want to make something else clear — I doubt the OP wants the entirety of Scratch to be renovated into TADC, I'm thinking they want it to be done similarly with Cartoon Network. (i. e. putting characters in some official tutorials)

Yeah, but even though it was to improve accessibility, it still has no educational value — that's why I quoted your post above.

I know that, I'm saying that if both Cartoon Network and TADC are somewhat inappropriate, and both are targeted towards a younger audience, then it could work.

I'm not saying it should, I'm just saying it could.

I don't really know what you mean by “publicize,” but I don't really think that's necessarily a bad thing if Scratch gets some attention off of it.

I don't understand what this has to do with teaching people swears. The Scratch Team would literally have to go out of their way and purposely add swears from the show (to whatever thing they collaborate on) for this to have any effect whatsoever.

Oh, I'm sorry for the confusion. What I mean by “publicize” is to put your foundation or coding language out there on the internet (which it already is but that's not the main point). While putting things out there like scratch (your basic beginner programming and coding platform for kids) on the internet is great and all, it can have negative effects. It's like putting out a review and then it starts getting reactions, not just good but bad.

TADC is created by GLITCH which is owned by SMG4 and his team, which is a group of people that collaborate on different video game characters from a variety of game franchises. The content itself includes a bunch of video game characters in a G-Mod perspective but what the characters say in the videos of their projects are not appropriate, and it's barely noticeable sometimes.
small edit: I switch the D and C because they were in the wrong spots.

I actually realized
in some vids (SMG4) they don’t censor the another word for donkey
I’m not linking it cuz inappropriate

It's still not as strict when it comes to content such as SMG4's old stuff. YouTube isn't just a gosh darn platform for Cocomelon after all. Anyways, SMG4 and GLITCH's channels are separate

I agree. It's not like I hate his vids and they are pretty entertaining to watch, I just don't appreciate the fact that they are inappropriate to watch sometimes.

lets get back on topic
also I don’t support this cuz
why would we need a popular thing on yt to be on Scratch
also its very unlikely that Scratch will be collaborating with youtubers

No support. There's no need for a non-profit foundation to collaborate with a YouTuber, and the content from TADC isn't kid-friendly and this might trick schools into thinking that Scratch isn't a site based on coding and following it's own memo.

Actually, if Scratch did this, the schools would be right.

So basically you're saying that there's some pros, but also some cons like an increase in trolls or spam?

I've never personally watched the series, so I don't know if they're rare and subtle, or if they happen much more frequently than I thought.

I haven't watched the series either, so there's no telling if it's happening more frequently like you said.
