Predictions:You can’t just expect Olivia Rodrigo to win it because you like her music. Statistically it has no chance. Same thing with America Ferrera, as much as I liked her. If Robert Downey Jr wins that would be robbery. I haven’t watched The Zone of Interest, but I watched ‘SOCIETY OF THE SNOW’ and it was wonderful.

These will be the things with the most nominations in the Boom Awards. I also watched around 10 short films. I really recommend “Rosemary A.D. (After Dad)”, it’s on YT, it’s beautiful, small deppression warning

Because it was beautiful and well made. I had mixed feelings on it because it was really, really different from what I thought it would bethen why is it in your best of 2023Honestly I had mixed feelings on the movieIt's… It's Miyazaki. I haven't seen it but it has a huge chance of winning.Want and think are different things. It has no chance. I'm making my own unbiased Oscars, I'm actually gonna watch all the movies I nominate.Spider-Verse: Best Animated Feature and nothing else because the Academy hates animationI think The Boy and the Heron might actually win Best Animated Feature

To be clear, I dont want Oppenheimer to win, but it’s the least controversial out of all of them so the Academy will probably choose it

Y'all surely don't know that the Fallout 3 in-game radio promised that Britney Spears would get an Oscar in 2023. We all know that aged well.
I think the SMB Movie 23 will get an Oscar

I’m tired of everyone being like “OMG Oppenheimer was the BEST movie of the year!!! Barbie was mid tho”
Like bro what?? Both had flaws, both were really well made. Neither of them were the best movie. Barbie was really unsubtle in its messages and felt like it was saying “any damage the Barbie brand has done for unrealistic expectations for women wasn't so bad because it wasn’t on purpose”, and Oppenheimer was really unsubtle in most things it was doing, the women characters weren’t well written, and the ending had you rooting for Oppenheimer.
The only reason most people say Oppenheimer is the best is because if you don’t think a Christopher Nolan movie is the best of the year then you’re wrong
