I haven't seen many of these but American Fiction, Oppenheimer, and Spider-verse seem like the only great movies of 2023. Poor Things also seems interesting and I love Michael Mann so I'll probably watch Ferrari. The Holdovers also seems good

Like bro what?? Both had flaws, both were really well made. Neither of them were the best movie. Barbie was really unsubtle in its messages and felt like it was saying “any damage the Barbie brand has done for unrealistic expectations for women wasn't so bad because it wasn’t on purpose”, and Oppenheimer was really unsubtle in most things it was doing, the women characters weren’t well written, and the ending had you rooting for Oppenheimer.
The only reason most people say Oppenheimer is the best is because if you don’t think a Christopher Nolan movie is the best of the year then you’re wrong
