I search “imagine dragons” and it came up with no results, doing the bypass trick by using a hyphen instead of a space works though, why is “imagine dragons” blocked?

There just could be no projects that have “imagine dragons” in them.

It could be that there were too much not Scratch-friendly projects about Imagine Dragons, so the Scratch Team had to NFE every Imagine Dragons projects on Scratch.

I don't think they were NFE'd, I can still search it, I just have to bypass the blocked search term.

I believe it's because Scratch doesn't want people to upload copyrighted music since it could get them into legal trouble. BTS and Eminem are also blacklisted since they have copyright issues over people re-uploading their music. AJR isn't blocked because they allow creators to use their music, as long as the creators aren't earning money from AJR's music.

That does make sense. I'm satisfied with this answer but I'm gonna leave this topic open if anymore come in.

I think band names are usually nfe’d, to stop kids from using scratch only to listen to copyrighted music

I don't really know fo sure WHY but if you search up ‘imagine’ you still get some similar results
