How do I record sound through a scratch project?

I want to record sounds through a scratch project.
Not from the sounds tab, like THROUGH the project.. using scripts.

I mean like recording the sound while the project is running THROUGH the project, saving it for later in an encoded form….

No, you can't, you can only record sounds thru the sounds tab or by loading it from your computer, also you can use Text to speech extension, which won't record your voice, just converts Texts to sounds

In the instructions of this project you linked. Meaning no, in vanilla scratch you can not record while a project is running.

So, I'm making a music

So, I'm making a music project, and I'd like to add a record button for the player to record the notes they played until stopped. I tried variables, but it only repeated the last note played. I'm not sure if Scratch has this feature/script yet.

Never mind, I am going to make it be able to make your own songs, but I think I know how.

maybe gather the loudness values and store it into a list. Then, maybe drone it to a single tone for vocoding. Just sayin.

Never mind, I am going to make it be able to make your own songs, but I think I know how.

you can't record voice as far as I know, but you could at least record loudness
