@mybearworld this is a really good idea! Why is it a good idea? In Suggestions, you have to explain the reasoning for your opinion. For example, you may support it because you may not always be able to have the volume up in order to hear it and/or they may not be able to use See Inside.

Bumpy I am so sorry for causing a flame war because I didn't support this for a dumb reason.

This is a great feature idea, even if the user is not hearing impaired! What if you missed something that a sprite said, or could not have your volume up at some point? My only concern is how you could tell which sprite is talking. Auto-writing the sprite name is not very favorable, but I suppose you could write “<character name>: <message>” if you REALLY needed to watchers to know. It could get tedious, but custom blocks exist.
define make (character) say (message)
speak (message) transcript (join (join (character) [: ]) (message)) :: pen

(#589)What would be the negative of doing that?

TL;DR: ANY “WORKAROUND” INVOLVING CODE AT ALL IS NOT VIABLE FOR THE PERSON VIEWING THE PROJECT.

Internal names could be revealed, and sometimes you don’t want narrator_internal32 telling you your quest, when it is supposed to be the magical sky wizard(#589)What would be the negative of doing that?

Internal names could be revealed, and sometimes you don’t want narrator_internal32 telling you your quest, when it is supposed to be the magical sky wizardThen you could just rename the sprite, which would be less tedious than making a custom block.

(#597)I used to have Scratch on German a lot, because that's my native language. This would've been really annoying.
