(Dupe moment)
I miss this feature—while I have it with my extension, I would be happy to see it in vanilla again. While I'm not visually impaired, it can make looking at the editor easier, and is great for some visually impaired people. Full support.

Also, I'm late, but the block text could be black if the block color used is light enough, like how the high contrast blocks already are. Bringing this topic up.Oh…You have no idea how many scratchers want to hide their code from others…Why would it show the same thing for everyone?? That wouldn’t make sense. And the original poster stated:
Scratch embraces remix culture, and so should all it's scratchers, with this suggestion, a scratcher might make their blocks white effectively making them invisible to the human eye( hugh contrast doesn't help much…)Stated it earlier. Anyone who sees inside a different project that isn't theirs, you would just see your own block colors.

not really against it, but i'm not for this especially either1. People could use it for aesthetic reasons, but that isn't the only reason. I honestly do not like the 3.0 block look lol
i don't get how this would improve scratch??
we got already different colored blocks for different sections and that works well. why would we need more color options? just for aesthetic purposes?
2. The high contrast blocks don't really seem to help with any type of colorblindness (as seen through multiple simulators). There's also multiple types of colorblindness, and one extra option might not work for all types.
3. I don't know about other people, but the 3.0 blocks hurt my eyes, and can be hard to read for me (both high contrast and the regular ones)
i would say this is kinda pointless other than aesthetic. but do we really need this bc you can you the extension.People might be unable to install extensions if their device has restrictions, and it's harder on mobile. Also, those extensions aren't official. Also, there are other reasons outside of aesthetics.
