But children don't all know this, and you may forget and share it anyway. Besides, people don't always bother with a dedicated thumbnail, they just do it in the game or at the start before you hit flag.

This is a great example of why the thumbnail shouldn't contain video. Link to it here. This led to many children putting their faces in remixes with the image scanner, because it had camera in the thumbnails.

Wait this still isn't censored? When I was a wee lad Like 2 or 3 years ago when I was a dumb 11 or 12 year old I almost accidentally made a thumbnail with my face in it… Big safety concern

Just realized this is especially bad because you can’t control when projects save/create thumbnails

You forgot the fact it applies to remixes too and the thumbnail can reveal the creator's face without them knowing.
