WARNING!!! This is just a creepypasta, so nothing here is real.
I'm a big Sonic fan. I love both games: Classic and Modern games. For Easter, I got a Genesis and Sonic 1 cartridge. I was very excited and happy, so I tried it. Unfortunately, it was corrupted, the corruption that I first noticed is SEGA being reversed and only GA heard. Then the Sonic Team Presents screen appeared but the Sonic Team text read Soul Team instead. I got VERY SCARED!!! I've tried to ignore it and the intro showed up. But the intro music was very distorted as quiet static is heard instead of the intro music. I started feeling like watching an analog horror instead of playing a video game. Then I've pressed the Start button and Sonic 2 Options screen appeared. I've tried anything but nothing worked. I've tried Tails Alone and it worked! But Green Hill Zone title card was not usual, because ACT 1 was ACT 666 instead and ZONE referenced one of the types of content that isn't for kids. Also Green Hill Zone music was very distorted just like intro music as quiet static is still there. I've ignored it, Tails appeared in Green Hill Zone. But the sprites were very buggy (it was just Tails falling sprite at any time and Tails jumping sprite while jumping/dashing). Also I've tried to spindash, but it didn't work. I've anyways started playing and collecting rings. But suddenly I've accidentally touched spikes and lost my rings. Then I've tried to avoid them, but instead the scariest thing happened. The scariest thing was the screen showing Sonic.exe and two labels written in red font:
First one read: PIRACY IS NO SPEED
And the second one read: ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION 666.
The music was looping Green Hill Zone part still distorted.
I got very scared and turned off the console immediately.

Hi, I am Tom and I am a big Sonic fan so I was excited when my mom came home with a copy of Sonic 1 for the MegaDrive! I put it in my MegaDrive and It booted up as Sonic 1 but the background was all black and It was called “ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグのデモビルド” I asked my mom what it meant because she was born in Japan and she said it meant “Sonic the Hedgehog Demo Build” And then I noticed that the game had no music so I hit the start button and it shown a level select and the levels in order was,
“緑地帯
スパークルゾーン
ゾーン”
I only knew a few words in Japanese and they were “Green, Zone, Sparkle, Dog, and Cat
And I could easily translate the words as
”Green Zone
Sparkle Zone
ZONE“
So I clicked on ”緑地帯“ and started playing,
There was a Dark and Light Green Pattern on the ground and only a blue sky, I was playing as Sonic and I started running. there were no enemies or rings, but I didn't care. But then after hours of playing, I saw DEAD ANIMALS!, I got scared and ran as Sonic till I fell into a hole.
then I was in ”スパークルゾーン“ and it was blank until I saw a black Dr. Robotnik-looking figure in front of Sonic and then the screen turned to static.
Then I was transported to ”ゾーン“ and As Sonic I watched a gory scene of Sonic having his stomach yanked out of him and then a Robotnic wearing a yellow and black suit walked into the frame and started eating his organs. the scene was so gory that I started to puke. Then after that, it said ”
スプレッド・ザ・ワード スプレッド・ザ・ワード スプレッド・ザ・ワード スプレッド・ザ・ワード スプレッド・ザ・ワード" Then the lights turned out and I felt horrible pain and then the lights turned on my leg was gone and my mom came in the room and sent me to the doctors.
