No, the powers only apply to the apples. That was intentional.
Howd you get them squared? Isn't it supposed to be cubed?

Wrong, not -1 imaginary ones, -1 real apples.
Similarly, if you multiply an apple by itself 3 times, you'll get -1 apples.
I'm learning that in Alg 2, but I really think it's unnecesary (I'm freshman btw)

From what it seems, imaginary numbers are used a lot in electrical engineering for measuring amplitude, phase, and other things (I don't know much about engineering ok)

Whatever you do, be careful not to imagine someone imagining having a billion quid, or you might find yourself in massive debt!

Yes, of course 1*1*1 = 3, and obviously x*x*x = x², I don't know how you don't know this…
god i'm dumb

I knew there was something wrong with it.
It's still unintelligible though.

Q: A future programmer is now taking college. It's finally time for his final exam, and does his best to answer this 158-question exam. The teacher collects the papers and grades them. After a while he gives the papers back. The programmer got 79.67% of the questions correct. What grade does he get?

A: C++.
