Ipad Oops! Something went wrong
When my students try to open up their projects they get this Oops! Something went wrong message. Then it says we are so sorry but it loos like scratch has crashed. this bug has been automatically reported to the scratch team. Please refresh your page to try again. But it keeps doing that and they can not open their work. How can we fix this?

Usually that's just a 404 error, the projects are either, 1: not shared, or 2: got removed.

The project crashed.
Does this occur on any other devices?

I dont know what could be happening, mostly cause i dont have any experience with scratch on ipads, but it is possible that the error is being caused by something set up for the school you teach in blocking important processes that the projects use from working.

This happens on low-end devices such as phones, tablets, and more. Simply use your laptop. Don't worry, if you don't have one you can try TurboWarp. The most common reason is because too much code and sprites.

That's not it. The big issue is because the power the device has cannot handle the power required for the Scratch project. This happens to computers but with the whole operating system, such as when they crash, that's because your PC ran out of power to supply any running software.

If the iPads are old/not very good it might be too much for it, but the name animations loaded on my iPad
(Not the right word probably) but it might be because there isn’t enough memory for it to run if they’re old

This is the very first time it said, “ Oops! Something went wrong message. Then it says we are so sorry but it loos like scratch has crashed. this bug has been automatically reported to the scratch team. Please refresh your page to try again.” I’m not sure what to do. I tried searching up how to solve it on my iPad and deleted some projects. It still does not work.

it often happens than there are too big images in the project or audio files. Or the project is generally too big… I would recommendate to use turbowarp as @Potahtoe_ said if that doesn't work the project is either even too big for turbowarp or there is a script inside which crashes the project. (Does the crach occure before or after pressing the green flag?). Could you provide a link for an example project? That might help because I could try it on my IPad than.
