ello there! I'm niko, I use they/them pronouns and am leading real-fi this session along with dawn <3 other than writing some of my hobbies include rock climbing, drawing, reading, and ice skating! For childhood toy, I would say a Mr. Potato Head ahaha. three of my goals this session are:
1. To enter a piece of writing that I am proud of into the writing competition
2. Complete two weeklies
3. Share more of my writing even if I'm not the most happy with it.

I hope everything has been going well and are being productive and are not just procrastinating on doing homework. I hope you were able to achieve at least two of your goals but if not don't be mad at yourself. I hope rock climbing has been going well and you've enjoyed doing the two qualifier events that will happen in November, even if you didn't place the best you are still incredible and you shouldn't take the rankings too much to heart. How is tech week going? I'm hoping that by then the situation with (name) has been resolved. Now onto writing, I really really really am hoping that you stuck by your goal and have shared some of your writing and not judged your stories too harshly.
Now about me, I'm doing well! Real-Fi is going well and I've completed all my homework for tonight. Once I'm done writing this I'm going to go free climb for a few hours and work out. I've just finished slurping up some delicious ramen and eaten a bit of my Halloween candy. School is hard though so I'm hoping it'll get easier soon. The first run crew meeting is tomorrow and I'm very excited to finally get into the fun part of crew, or at least what I consider fun. We only have a few weeks before opening night so that is a tad stressful since we still have a lot of the set to finish. Today in gym we ran the pacer test and I was thoroughly exhausted by the end, but at least I had it last period so I could go home afterward.
So… How would you rate November? Make sure you got enough sleep and don't pull any all-nighters writing, if it's not going great then please drink some tea and watch Owl House. That should make everything better. Have you finished the secret secret project yet? If not I'm sure the progress you've made so far has been fun to do. Don't forget to make presents for your family for New Year's! Please don't leave it until the last minute.
With that much love from me, you
Niko
Welcome to the second daily of this session! Hope you're enjoying discovering what your cabin and storyline look like. In this activity, you'll be writing a letter to your future self. Mention any goals you have for this month, maybe talk about a writing project of yours? Anything you want to include is great :) We'll be opening these letters near the end of the session.hello future niko!

As the time for snow came so had the time for her to begin her descent back to the underworld. The scream from the fields filled her head as she walked across the roads, her head tall and her dress dragging along the dirt. Once she reached the palace she stopped, facing the back of the throne opening her mouth to announce herself but of course, he already knew.
“Persephone, my darling.” A cold voice called from behind the throne, echoing through the dark hall.
She crossed the room, ignoring the skulls that lined the pathway. She bowed to Hades, scowling once she saw what he was holding. A pomegranate. He would dangle it in front of her whenever she threatened to leave. A bitter reminder of past errors.
“Hades. How have you been?” Persephone asked sharply. Only a few years had passed since the arrangement had been settled and yet each day in the underworld felt like a millennia living in Mount Olympus.
“Dreary.” Hades answered, “But at least you're here now.” He smiled, gesturing to the throne next to him.
It was black like his but flowers had been carved into it and it was missing the bones that were sat on the king of the Underworld's throne.
Months had passed since Hades had kidnapped her but no one came. He had taken good care of her, or at least what he thought was good care. But she was miserable. The food the guards fed her didn't compare to Olympus and the Underworld seemed as if to not welcome her with its cold air that would prick at her skin and drain her hair of color. The only good part of each day was when he would let her out and she could catch a glimpse of the sky. She stared at the stars and after a few weeks, new ones appeared. They shined brighter than the rest and seemed to wink at her whenever she looked up.
Finally, Demeter came. Soon this nightmare would be over. Her last day. Food arrived for her and Hades like usual. Her last of the gloomy meals that would come each day. But that day it was something new. A large, pink fruit. It was split open showing what looked like crystals. It called to her after months of dry food that didn't fill her up this was a great shock. Happily, she bit into the juicy bits of the fruit from the Underworld. The new stars disappeared.
Today we're bringing back a classic SWC daily - constellations! Constellations have become a huge part of our society over the centuries, from using them to track crop growth, to navigation in the night, to even retelling legends about they were created. All of these constellations, including the Ursa Major, Orion, and Pisces, carry a variety of traits that make them unique! For this daily, you will write 400 words of either a fiction or non-fiction piece based on how your favourite constellation came to be.
