daily 4 - Write 100 words about your favorite or one of your favorite fictional characters and comment your word total, who it was about, and why you like that character for 500 coins!

One of my favorite fictional characters is from Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is in my opinion one of the best TV shows in the world. The character's name is Iroh, and if you're not sure who he is, in the show he is around 60 years old according to my research, and he is the elder brother to the Fire Lord, Ozai, of the Fire Nation. He goes with Prince Zuko on the journey to capture the Avatar and “regain Zuko's honor”. The entirety of the show he just makes the audience laugh. He is an amazing character because of the way he acts toward Prince Zuko, since he treats him more like a father than his own father. Also, he is extremely powerful. He invented redirecting lightning and he can breathe fire with his mouth. There are so many other things I could say about General Iroh but it would literally go off the page haha, so, I would suggest watching the show if you have not yet. He is literally the best.

daily 5 - Write 250 words about your favorite pastime and the last time you did it for 1300 coins!

My favorite pastime has got to be writing. More specifically, writing stories and coming up with ideas for them. I write every single day, especially at school because we have to complete essays. The topic of writing as a hobby is probably too general because at school we literally write in worksheets for every single class xD. So, I like to freewrite when I have leisure time. I like when I have the choice to write about anything with no restrictions. I get to let my mind wander and think about fantastical, magical scenarios for my characters to experience. The last time I wrote was actually, as you probably guessed it, today! This month I am participating in the final aggregate of four camps! This allows me to have a prompt to start with and then I can write based on that prompt, which is still basically freewriting to me. However, I have noticed that there is less and less time each day that I wrote something just for fun, or in my own volition if that makes sense. For example, I haven't continued the novels that I thought I would final writing or developing my characters and worlds. Mostly my writing has been for school and camps. So I am not sure whether it counts that my pastime was most recently done today, because in my leisure time I just find myself doing something else. I have to remember to keep working on the pieces I never finished lol.

daily 11 - Draw an eye (it can be in any form, digitally, traditionally, etc.). Once you’ve finished, write 300 words of who you think the eye would belong too and what their story would be, then write a short sentence detailing their story here for 2000 points!

here is my weirdly drawn eye based on a reference bc i literally can't draw eyes sobb

Although it may look unlike it, my eye belongs to a young child only around seven or eight years old.
He is a boy with thick blonde hair covering his forehead and almost his eyes. His wide, sparkling eyes are a mysterious shade of blue. You may always find him sitting beside a tree, his eyes either lost in a book or closed. But no matter how many times you see him with his eyes closed, he is never sleeping. This young boy is attentive of everything happening around him, like the wind blowing at a tree's leaves, ants marching up a hill a long distance away, your boots crushing the damp grass whenever you make a step towards him.
The boy suddenly turns around, surprising you. Everyone has heard of him before, but they talk in hushed whispers because it seems as some enchantress put a spell on him when he was just a baby. This, of course, isn't the truth, but you still can't help thinking that it was. The boy stands out from everyone else who lives in your village. What an interesting plot twist from the boring place you have come to call home.
Although you were anticipating it, the boy's eyes open wide so suddenly that you start second-guessing yourself, thinking they weren't closed at all. You take a step back, hesitating. Looking deep into his eyes, you see wisdom and knowledge far beyond his age.
You have heard a lot of gossip growing up these years in the small village. People talk about how the boy with the blue eyes knows more than many professors combined. Some kind of child genius. You were supposed to believe it, but you wanted to see so for yourself. Now you're wishing you hadn't even come to the meadow where the boy always sits.
He's just a young child, you tell yourself, I wonder what goes on through his mind.

daily 15 - Write a letter to your future self! 300 words for 2500 points!

Dear Future Self,

How's life going? I don't know when you're seeing this again. A few years later in high school, maybe even after I graduate? It looks like today's the day when you pop onto a kid's coding website and for some reason remember that I wrote this random daily. But anyways, I wonder how life is for you right. I hope you're doing well! I hope I made some good decisions recently haha.
I'm writing this to you as my thirteen-year-old self, who's trying to navigate her way throughout eighth grade. Not excited to graduate middle school and face all the responsibilities of being a high schooler! I wonder how high school is/was for you. Ahh, please tell me it's not as stressful as I thought!
Right now I'm a lover of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo songs, and my friend is trying to convince me to listen to k-pop. Let me know your taste in music, it might be completely different from now! Do I still do ballet and archery? I hope I still play the cello. Is my favorite color still blue? And is my favorite food still spaghetti or just noodles in general? I'm interested to know what new hobbies I've picked up over the years. Oh my goodness, do I still do Scratch? I know I'm eventually going to grow out of it, but I hope at least not too quickly. The Scratch camp community is so amazing!
Some advice I have for you, although I'm still a naive teen, is that during difficult times, try to stay calm and take deep breaths. I know your troubles are way tougher than the ones I have now, so it's going to take a lot of effort to keep working hard. But I know everything is going to turn out alright. My advice is to always be a positive and kind person, and make moral, good decisions. Good luck in life <33

Sincerely,
Sophia

daily 21 - Write an origin story for a character you’ve created or are creating! 200 words for 3400 points (a lot of points, highly recommended daily) Try to include their past and why they are the way they are in the present!

That day in the hospital, a crowd of people gathered beside a certain crib with a look of astonishment on their faces. A middle-aged couple with brunette hair stared at the baby in the crib with wonder and revelation in their dark, intelligent eyes.
The baby was a sight to see. It was a girl with hair already grown out all the way,
