While you cannot change your username (unless it falls under a certain category), there is a way to get a new username while somewhat keeping everything else.

1. Make your new account with whatever username you want.
2. Download all of your projects from your old account and upload them to your new account. Make sure to include a notice that says, “This is my new account” in the notes and credits.
3. In the About Me of your old account, say “This is my new account: @example.” Replace @example with your actual username.
4. Tell people you know (ex. friends) that you're moving to a new account if you want them to know.
5. If you have studios that you're the host of, transfer the ownership to your new account.

This basically ensures that you keep everything. You will lose project stats (loves, views, favorites, and remixes), but it's not too big of a deal.

There are limited instances where the Scratch Team can change usernames. This includes containing personal info (like your name), gender dysphoria, or is an inappropriate username. However, you say that you simply don't like your username. Unless your username contains something mentioned that meets the criteria, it can't be changed.

Alright! That's fully your choice. As KangaCoder said, you can change your username in specific cases.

You could always create a nickname, by the way. That's totally fine.
