Project Templates
You should be able to use projects from My Stuff as templates when you open the editor. The templates tab should get added to My Stuff for this purpose.

“Add Template” would let you add a project by URL (if you designate a project of someone else then all projects you create using that will be remixes of it), “Add Default Template” would add a Scratch Cat (the same as we have now) and “Add Blank Project” would add a blank project.
By default, only the Scratch Cat will be in the list.
If you only have one project in the list, the editor will not show the template chooser and it would just open your single project.

Pros
- Easier to add intro
- Can help with commonly used engines without having to find it and copy/remix
- It is completely optional
- May discourage giving appropiate credit to remixes (though auto credit is still included)

No support, you can just remix.deleted for some purposes, including not listing the prons (pros and cons)

Why shorten something that already only takes a short amount of time? Making a website is not easy you know

support. this would fix the “you need an alt to remix your own project” issue entirely!
plus its easy to use!
just.. use the “make a copy of project”

support. this would fix the “you need an alt to remix your own project” issue entirely!I mean, it could get annoying having to search through your unshared projects every time (especially if you create multiple projects whenever you use Scratch), just to find the template you want to use at that moment.

Also, I saw someone who didn't know where a menu was on Scratch until it was too late, so they lost their progress.
And people who only want one account or haven't made multiple accounts yet for whatever reason. No support, you can just remix.deleted for some purposes, including not listing the prons (pros and cons)Even if you could, it would be much faster, and you can use your own unshared projects.
You'd have to share the projects too due to the api changes.

(#7)Your projects could still be accessed by yourself, so you won't have to share.

(#7)You manage the templates on that tab; if you don't want to use the template picker leave only one there.

I was talking about the solution that the other user provided.(#7)Your projects could still be accessed by yourself, so you won't have to share.

Same with this one, I was talking about when they said “use copy of project”.(#7)You manage the templates on that tab; if you don't want to use the template picker leave only one there.

The fact that scratch 1.x had that.I mean, they were called examples so they were meant for pre-select projects.
(it is mean't to say examples also my projects could of been used as my templates)
However, you could probably add projects to there or make a folder for your template on a computer.

Well, you can still do the template folder now or have an examples folder on there for 2.0 and 3.0 (just keep loading the project from your computer).Yes you could use the pre-selected projects or use a folder for a template on your computer. The fact that scratch 1.x had that.I mean, they were called examples so they were meant for pre-select projects.
