I have a feeling that this is just a joke topic. The name of the topic is literally a forum post reply from Paddle2see from the “change scratch cat’s fur to black” topic, modified, the idea was basically taken from people discussing if there should instead be an option to change the default colour of scratch cat in settings (on the same topic), and the OPer literally responded to a post arguing someone might not know how to use the paint bucket, which I’d be absolutely baffled if someone out there actually had no idea what the paint bucket was.

So maybe there should be options for changing the number of whiskers and eyes!

Or maybe we should leave it alone since it's a copyrighted image of Scratch. If folks want a different look, they can use the paint editor or upload a different image.
