Semi-support because scratchers would get into trouble with the bot. (it could have bugs)

But a kid, who doesn't know the words are bad, could see inside. Then he could look at theI don't think so. Most students start to have computer classes since third grade (like my school) and they couldn't be as stupid to not know:(Bad Words:: list)list. He could say it at his school, get in trouble, and Scratch could be banned.

- These are bad words, why would you use them at school?

What if it's a bad word in another language?

(#85)Are you trying to hijack the thread??
-snip-
Also about your reply above, they were replying to the original post, not yours. They would've quoted otherwise.

I did not intend to hijack, I will be more than happy to move my comments to a new topic.
But how am I suppose to get rid of my comments from this topic now?

I edited the OP – it was cringy, unclear, and had a bunch of unnecessary information including a bad hypothetical situation where a kid says a bad word at their school.

Scratch's filter blocks out long strings of numbers, imagine how hard it would be to create a Math based project! This is an old post, but I'll respond. It would work like the filter for non-comment text fields (such as studio descriptions), where long strings of numbers are not censored.

If this can filter out words before you’ve even shared the project, then no support. Some game devs use scratch as they’re inexperienced in coding, and they could make a game that contains curse words but not intend to upload it to scratch. This would get very annoying if they kept trying to write curse words and then it kept getting censored.
However, if this only goes into effect if you attempt to share the project, then I support as this could improve moderation.

It should add it to a fast moderation queue, but not instantly filter it. And filtering bitmaps would be impossible.

What about the sounds? How would the censor be able to detect sounds? I would've supported, but no support.

What about the sounds? How would the censor be able to detect sounds? I would've supported, but no support. It would only be able to detect things that it’s possible to detect, there would obviously be ways to get around it.
