Oh. Yeah it is mostly because I have seen people being rude and other asking nicely to try not to be rude.

It's based off context, your past interactions with mods, who's reviewing it, severity, and other things.
But, overall, it usually takes multiple offended.

It also depends on how commonly you break the guidelines. For example, a few offenses in a short period of time might get you banned, but several offenses over a couple of years probably wouldn't get you banned.
