What are the most popular projects, and least popular projects to make?
I have always wondered what the most popular and least popular projects are in the opinions of fellow Scratchers. Personally, I would like to know what the community likes to see in general. I love to make projects that entertain people, but I have noticed that it is difficult to entertain people with projects if you don't know what is more popular in the Scratch Community.
What is the easiest type of game to make?
I want to make games that people like, but easy games that can quickly be made (CODING wise) and that other people enjoy. I am not the type of person that enjoys making games, moreover, I like animating and art quite a bit. But I do enjoy seeing a game end result! So, if you all can help me it would mean the world to me!!!

You could try platformers, or clickers if you want a quick and easy way to make a game, but they are generic and very common. If you are still not sure, you can check out the ‘explore page’ of scratch and view popular and trending games, as well as other projects to gather ideas.

Usually games are the most common, and art and tutorials are the least common, at least in my opinion, but there can be other situations as well.

Mario is probably one of the most popular scratch games to make.

Just like with Minecraft, that's incredibly hard to make. @griffpatch has made a Minecraft project and @Will_Wam has made a Mario project, but neither of them are perfect because adaptations of real video games are difficult.

where you make something and can choose to customize

There's clicker games, platformer games, shooter games, etc. Just look in the explore tab guys!

PLATFORMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scratch is like the opposite when you work hard on something you barely get recognized
But when you backpack a platformer change a few backdrops and character design you get on featured

Sometimes scratch acts normally letting people who work hard on the featured page

I think the most popular game would be Chris patches multiplayer online platform but it's impossible to make cuz even just copying the code and costumes and everything it just turned out wrong I copy code exactly the Sprites exactly and everything which is platforms I think the easiest to make would be like a simple chasing game are you like you you have a mouse or something or something attached to your mouth and that's it keep it from touching something and gather others or gather up with other stuff that's the easiest to make cuz he's not ping pong games have a lota code and are kind of complicated
