Scratch HTML5 Editor Status Update?

In 2013, I was hearing a lot of talk about an HTML5 Scratch project editor, and that it would be available soon. It is now 2015, and there have been no status updates telling us how close to seeing this thing we are. The last thread created by the ST in announcments talking about the HTML5 editor was from October 2013, saying that the code is open-sourced. I'm not trying to be picky or criticize the ST, (I realky love you guys for everything you do, you guys are awesome ) but I was wondering, do we have an estimated release time for a BETA version?

If you are reading this… Then congratulations! You have found the part of my signature that was eaten by a kumquat! (On a side note, you are probably in a kumquat's stomach.) Now get out of the kumquat's stomach and go do something productive with your life. Like playing this game over and over again. Very productive.

Well, it would take a long time to develop even a beta version since they are basically rewriting all of the editor, and if you are talking about an app, then,
App Store: Doesn't allow apps that interpret or execute code.
Google Play: Not sure.

Hope I helped.

Wasn't really talking about a mobile editor. And for Google Play, there's an app called Pocket Code that is based off of Scratch and allows you to program with blocks. You can download it here.
