So there are certain things in scratch that should not be said, since this platform is for all ages. Right? So scratch has a bad word detector to help filter some of these things out. Sounds good, sounds reasonable, but I've noticed things with it that it's probably not supposed to do. Like how, there was a scratcher who was still able to say the 4 letter R-Word. Also the 4 letter D-Word, (the one that has A as the second letter) is not blocked in comments, as I've seen many comments that have this word. Also, it blocks words that aren't actually bad words like “discord”, which is the name of a song by TheLivingTombstones. I know I'm not the only person who's noticed this, and I've seen other discussions about this topic. Can you please fix this, Scratch?

The one you said that isn't a bad word, is not just a name of a song. It's a 13+ chatting app kids shouldn't be in.

They likely bypassed it if you mean the one that ends with e for the 4 letter r word. The “4 letter d-word” is allowed, and is rejected to censor.
Disconnect the cord is blocked because it's more often used as the name of a private chat service for 13+, so it's disallowed to be said on Scratch.

There is one, though there's also an MLP character called that.

I was making a project listing my accounts on different platforms. I wanted to list my account on a kid friendly platform for making fun quizzes that starts with a B and is known as a better Kahoot. I detected it as a bad word for some reason.

It’s because it can be used for private chat and it has a disconnect the cord link.

im new to Scratch and was so confused what ‘bad word’ my description had turns out it was blocking the app name that starts with the p-letter plus interest - i was trying to credit the artist for my game project backdrop ;-;
