We all know what views are, they are how many people have seen it. But, in scratch that’s only one project and to count all the views on all projects you have to count every single one. What if you could see how many views you have from the last few projects. I present, a view counter. This will help me count how much views I have and others. There is infinite possibilities. Have fun stay safe. Again, have fun stay safe

Edit: it should go in ‘my stuff’

Interesting idea, but there are a few things to take into account with this.

The first thing is where it would display. You didn't clarify where it would display, so that is up for debate. It could work on profile pages, say next to the username or next to the project count. It could also display at the bottom of the page, similar to how a certain unnamed browser extension does it. However, I think that it would be better somewhere private, like maybe a new tab in account Settings specifically for statistics. The reason for this brings me on to the next point.

It probably wouldn't be the best idea to allow everyone to see each other's view counts. This would most likely lead to a lot of comparisons. Scratch, being a site full of immature kids, is bound to have a bunch of bad apples who think that higher view count = superiority. This would most likely lead to a lot of rule breaking centered around view counts. It would just be a lot better for the total view count to be hidden from the public.

There's also the fact that this is very easy to workaround. You could use a third party website like scratchstats. If you don't like third party services, you could also just input all of the view counts into a calculator. It is boring, but if you don't just spam low quality projects nonstop, it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. Given how niche this feature would be, you're probably better off using one of those two methods.

It’s not a public thing it is personal. If someone wants to share their views they can if they want.
