(No longer useful) I do not know if this is the right place to address this topic, but I think don't think I found a way of making multiple accurate timers, each being able to reset individually.
Here is how I go about it:
The following scripts will use these variables:

(time before frame)
(frame timing)
(timer1)
(difference1)

The first script calculates how long each frame runs:

when green flag clicked
forever
set [time before frame v] to (timer)
wait (0) secs
set [frame timing v] to ((timer) - (time before frame))
end

The second script is for updating the duplicate timers (in the following scripts I use ‘timer1’ to stand for whatever timers you want to use):

when green flag clicked
set [timer1 v] to (timer)
forever
wait (0) secs
change [timer1 v] by (frame timing)
end

Those scripts are all that you need, but to test whether they work, you can use this script:

when green flag clicked
forever
set [difference1 v] to ((timer) - (timer1))
end

Just check if the ‘difference1’ variable is 0.
The last two scripts can be repeated any number of times with different variables without with being affected by lag to create multiple timers.
To reset one of the timers, just do this:

set [timer1 v] to [0]

An advantage to these timers is that we can initially set them to any value:

set [timer1 v] to [wanted time]
