April Fools idea: Metele al Ordenata (Bash the Computer) minigame on "Whoops! Our server is Scratch'ing its head" page and ban pages
My third idea for 2024 April Fools Day, a minigame similar to a flash game “Metele al Ordenata” appears on ban pages like Account Blocked message.
Ever since I got a good point from someone on my second April Fools idea topic (changing anything meant to be serious causes Scratchers to intentionally break the site rules due to curiosity), a link to the game would be like this: https://scratch.mit.edu/bash-the-computer

Bans are meant to be seriousThe purpose of the idea for a minigame on a ban page (during the April Fools day, otherwise my idea probably get rejected by the ST) is to relieve stress of being banned (with messages in the game when you completed the game reads something like “most people who falsely claimed the false reporting is the reason why they getting banned are actually avoiding their responsibility with others”), kinda like a dinosaur game pops up on No Internet error on Chrome.
Not for a game
Since you made good points about this idea, the link to the game should last forever even after April Fools day ends (obviously nothing to do with a rejected suggestion to make cat blocks toggle-able)

I said it once, and I'll say it again: I don't think it's a good idea to include a feature to encourage Scratchers to break the rules.

WHY all the pranks for banned and muted users? Why would the ST put work into features just for them?

No support. Even though this is only for April Fools, bans are meant to be serious and if this were to be added, it will make bans look fun, and it will encourage Scratchers to purposely break the rules to get banned quickly like purposely upload inappropriate art work, purposely harass users, etc, which this would result in bans being handed out left and right because of this update.

Our server is Scratch'ing its head” where you're attempting to view unshared/censored/deleted projects, not just ban pages, but that obviously doesn't address the fact this minigame encourages kids to smash their PC, which is a waste of resources considering PCs are expensive

So why does the minigame need to be included on ban pages in the first place?

Like I said before, it is to relieve stress caused by account blocks and IP bans. However, I realized the minigame only included on ban pages would cause Scratchers to purposely violate Community Guidellines due to curiosity, so now this suggestion has been updated to include on 404 pages so it negates the need to break the rules since all you have to do is attempting to view unshared projects (including ones taken down by ST). Sorry about that, but it doesn't mean kids aren't encouraged by the minigame to bash their PCs.Good point, I attempted to address this issue by adding this minigame to an error page called “Whoops! They could, alternatively, relieve stress by signing out and playing a Scratch game while logged out, or they could engage in stress-relieving activity outside of Scratch.
Plus, I don't see a reason why the Scratch Team needs to add anything to the ban page to make it more “fun.” Bans serve as a punishment to those who broke the Community Guidelines. It somewhat negates the effect of the ban if the Scratch Team deliberately makes the ban page entertaining. It may even come across as condescending to those who get banned: “You have been banned from Scratch, here's a simple game you can play instead.”

No support. You could just play a game on Scratch after signing out or outside of Scratch.

Semi-support, I don't think it should be on the ban page but on the 404 it wouldn't be a bad idea

An update to this suggestion, the link to the game should be there forever on 404 pages, but for the ban pages, it only last until a day after AFD

Bans are meant to be like a punishment from parents. That's like getting your favorite thing taken away as a prank because you purposefully broke the rules.
So why do the same for scratch? After April fools people would have to get appealed for their account blocked.

So the question is, are there other sites that done this before (changing the block/ban stuff to look more fun)?
