I don't know Scratch Cat's gender, and when I look it up, nothing is there. Can anyone tell me what his gender is? Please?

Nobody knows. It's unknown.

Scratch Cat is officially nonbinary (source). However, several Scratch Team members use he/him pronouns when referring to Scratch Cat.

Though This wiki article (same one KangaCoder sent you) states that the Scratch Cat is non-binary, people are free to interpret the cat's gender as whatever they'd like.

Biological “gender” (because I dont really wanna use the other word even if in this case it is appopriate, the actual word isn't gender but is close enough) is different from gender. Gender is your prefered pronouns and all those stuff, while biological one is the one you're born into. However, as scratch cat isn't exactly your average human (or cat, for the matters), it like, literally doesn't have a biological gender, like, you could consider it a bacteria ig? For the gender you are asking (as in, what you should call it), it is up to you. As scratch promotes creativity, you could call scratch “he” “she” “they” “scratchy” or whatever else you want (obviously it has to be appropriate). While the official gender is Non-binary (most likely so people dont go “hey scratch cat is a he” or “hey scratch cat is a she” when people give the cat another gender)

TLR its whatever you want but officially Non-binary. Biological gender is also nothing, as its not exactly your average cat or human

There are two things: the biological ‘gender’ (not saying the other word in case it's not allowed) and the gender.
The biological gender is you physic, and there are two, male and female.
A male has YX chromosomes and a female XX.
The biological gender is determined at birth.

The gender, is a completely other thing, is what's in you head, how you consider yourself.
Some people are trans (transgender) which means they are the opposite gender than the one they were born.
For example a male at birth can decide he is a female and vice-versa.
Some people decide both genders don't fit them, so they are non-binary.

P.S. : I'm pretty new to the subject, so you can correct me or add some details

Since the Scratch Cat doesn't have a masculine or feminine name, you're free to refer to the cat however you want as long as it's appropriate
