The ability to convert Scratch Jr Projects to Scratch

This will be an option on mobile devices were you can convert a Scratch Jr project to Scratch in the Scratch app.

I support this because there are some sprites you can't get on Scratch that are only on Scratch Jr. (and not everybody has the space for sprites downloaded off Google Images)

Is there anything that's possible on ScratchJr, that is not possible on Scratch, that would make this difficult/impossible to implement?

The idea of this is to add the feature to share Scratch JR projects. Not make it a whole different feature.

And if it’s possible, it might be, the ST can make it work since Scratch JR is easier to implement.

turn right (1) :: motion

hop (2) :: motion

go home :: motion

grow (2) :: looks

shrink (2) :: looks

reset size :: looks

pop :: operators

play recorded sound *insert number*:: operators

stop :: control

set speed [ v] :: control

end ‍:: cap

go to page :: cap

How does Scratch recreate this AUTOMACTIALLY? No support.

Move right/left/up/down can be done with the change x/y by blocks.

Turn right/left can be done with turn cw/ccw blocks.

Grow and shrink can be done with the change size blocks, while reset size can be done by setting the size to 100.

Pop is just playing the sound pop.

Play recorded sound number can be done by creating sounds and using the play sound until done block.

I’m not sure what stop does, but it sounds like one of the dropdown options in the stop block in Scratch.

I’m not sure what the last three would do.

This would probably take a lot of coding, not to mention not a lot of people use scratch JR. anyway. The ones that do are young kids who probably doesn't even know Scratch exists.

Couldn't you just remake them in the scratch sprite editor?

It starts as soon as it touches another sprite.

Remember that ScratchJR movement is smooth, not instant, unlike Scratch.
Also, “pages” don't exist in Scratch.
