The final episode is in two weeks. Any thoughts?

And this is not a necropost. This is my own topic, and it is on-topic.

I saw the other post about Yor and yeah, I agree because I didn't know she existed until looked into the show a little more.

Speaking of which, who do you think would win: Loid or Yor?

That's honestly a good question, but to tell you the truth, I'm not sure. If they were to fight in a hand to hand combat, it might either end up being a tie or a victory for Yor. Loid is known to be always expecting the unexpected as a spy, so he's able to dodge and evade a lot of the attacks. But then again Yor is a trained killer so she might or might not know of ways to use force on those evading her blows. Depending on her fighting style and move predictability.

But if you were to give them their choice of weapons, that might change things drastically!

Loid often is seen using the weapons such as the guns he manages to snag from the other enemies he manages to get his hands on.

Guns are often considered to be leathal ranged weapons. If Loid Forger had one of those, the Thorn Princess might be in for a big suprise. Now, compare that ranged weapon to the daggers Yor carries in her trade. Loid probably had a lot of skill training as a exellent spy and he might've even been a sharpshooting marksman considering how they've depicted him thus far. It would, in fact, in a way, be like bringing a knife to a gun fight in wild west terms.

Unless the Thorn Princess could like, cut a bullet in half with one of her daggers.

I mean… It's not impossible, I saw this katana (on a show called Forged in Fire) that was sharp enough to do the job.

Oh, and you saw what she could do to him while she was drunk, so specifically by surprise, she could probably win. He definitely put up a fight, but for how long before she could seriously injure him? He could totally do the same to her, buuut… It's hard to say.

I think that’s a little different because Loid was around his wife and daughter, and if they knew he was a spy, the mission would be in jeopardy, so he probably went easy. And Yor was also drunk, so her strategy was probably a lot different than usual — so it’s really hard to tell from that battle.

THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU

Also, opinions on the Spy x Family dub that came out? Tbh, I prefer Yor’s voice in the dub, I like Anya’s voice in the dub and sub, but Loid’s voice doesn’t fit well at all in the dub.

I've been reading the Spy x Family manga right now, and where I live, they don't have a lot of the volumes here where I live. I only have from 1 through 9. I've been thinking, should I watch the anime itself right now, while the manga is still being translated and all? Also, kind of random, but I also have an Anya pencil case. Small, but it's cute!

Yeah, the story is great! You should watch it. I haven’t read the manga to compare, though, but the anime is wonderful.

Alright, I'll give it a chance. Usually when it comes to anime/manga adaptations, they're usually different from each other with the story (and animes usually have filler), so I can't wait to see what's different!
