INTRO (written by Rea)
Hello there, everybody - welcome to the first weekly! This week, we’re going to be focusing on timelines & time travel. We hope you learn the basics of plotting timelines and time travel mechanics through these workshops <3 Huge thanks to the workshop creators and daily team. Let's dive right in!
This weekly starts at 12:01 a.m. UTC March 2nd, 2023. Wait until then to start writing.
Additionally, quick reminder to wait two days before submitting your weekly! You can start writing before then, but weeklies can only be submitted after 12:01 a.m. UTC March 4th.

PART ONE: Time Travel Mechanics (written by Lulu)
PART ONE: Time Travel Mechanics (written by Lulu)
Before we start writing the next Interstellar, we’ll be starting off with some basics! Check out this super yummy workshop by the golden Cara on the mechanics of time travel. Now that you’ve basked in Carcrash’s awesomeness, here’s your first activity: exploring the butterfly effect! Write about a singular event, and then branch off into three different outcomes that stem from that event.
EVENT: Lulu eats Smarlls the Ibex
#1: Sta gets angry and ghosts Lulu ➜ Becomes sad without Lulu or Smarlls ➜ Flees to a castle up on the clouds ➜ Meets group of penguins on a flying pirate ship and joins them ➜ Learns to make magic stew onboard ship that makes people pledge themselves to her ➜ Becomes dictator of the world
#2: Sokester refuses to believe Lulu committed such a heinous crime ➜ Teams up with Mossy and Alialia to prove her innocence ➜ Struggles to find evidence to prove Lulu’s innocence ➜ Goes insane because they cannot find enough evidence to save Lulu
#3: Lilio and Reality hold a funeral for Smarlls ➜ No one except Robino shows up because they’re all busy ghosting Lulu or trying to prove her innocence ➜ Lilio, Reality, and Robino all become best friends ➜ The three go on vacation to an island where they find a new pet ibex ➜ They all live happily ever after on their farm island
When you write yours, you should be writing your event and outcomes in story/prose format, but here’s an outlined example to give you a general gist of how this works! By the end, you should have four short stories: one starting event, and three outcomes. Each can be however long you’d like, but the four stories should total to a minimum of 400 words.
Additionally, we’d like to state for the record that we do not condone the eating of innocent ibexes <3

PART TWO: Plotting Timelines (written by Soki)
PART TWO: Plotting Timelines (written by Soki)
The next activity you’ll be doing for this weekly is plotting timelines! This is something that can be incredibly helpful in telling a wide range of stories. Check out this workshop on plotting timelines by the amazing Sandy to learn about how you’re going to do this. After you’re finished reading, try your hand at plotting some timelines of your own!
To complete this part of the weekly, create a linear timeline in any medium you can share on scratch, with at least five major plot points, displayed either as in-story time or plot stages. Elaborate on each point for 100 words. That’s a minimum of 500 words total.
Here’s an example of the kind of outline you’re going to create. Keep in mind yours will be longer than this is.
Plot point one: Julius steps into the dark building (suspense, rising action)And here’s what your elaborations might look like. Again, to complete this activity, yours will be longer.
Plot point two: Julius begins to here concerning sounds (continued suspense, rising action)
Plot point three: Julius is attacked and has to defend himself (climax)
Elaborating on the second point: Julius is startled by the first noise, a sort of slow scraping, like a stone against metal. He’s alone, in a dark and unknown place. He begins to feel scared, wondering if maybe he made the wrong choice. He realized it’s too late to go back now, and he decided to move forward with his plan, even as the noises get louder and more frequent.Have fun creating your timelines!

PART THREE: Outlining a Non-Linear Storyline Draft (written by Lio)
PART THREE: Outlining a Non-Linear Storyline Draft (written by Lio)
Onward to the unknown! In this part, we’ll be combining aspects of the previous two activities and workshops as well as preparing for the fourth activity by plotting a non-linear timeline that you’ll use for the final piece. It’s up to you what your story is about, though it should include time travel.
First, write 50 words to roughly summarize what will happen in your story. A quick roadmap — even before you start on a more detailed outline — is key to keep track of story threads.
Then, in 200 words or more, outline the story in detail, making sure to highlight important story beats and distinguish timelines from one another. Don’t worry about grammar or complete sentences for this.
Summary:I used different colors to distinguish between the three main characters and their timelines, as well as a fourth color for scenes from none of their perspectives. Keep in mind this example is shorter than your writing will be.
At the annual Peach Gala, a trio of time-traveling mischief makers (Hero, Maisy, Anah) sneak in to steal back an antique clock. They enter one at a time, from various places on their own timelines. Each has a chance to steal the clock, each fails. In the end they are all back to where they started. There is no clear this happened then this happened — only through descriptions of what happens in the party is it clear what order events occurred in.
Outline:
- Final scene chronologically; three time travelers stranded and lamenting loss
- Hero is first to enter the party — establishing scene of gala early in the night — he quickly makes attempt
- Maisy is third — they catch a glimpse of Anah being carried away — they try to sneak away
- Anah is second, and causes impacts felt in Maisy’s (fire?)
- Hero’s attempt fails, he is taken to see Waverly, then banished
- Anah’s perspective on the clock being stolen, so entirely different time than main timeline
- Maisy can’t sneak away; banished and final scene chronologically begins
- First scene chronologically; Waverly Peach preparing for gala, reveals that she had known the whole time the three will try to infiltrate and has already put in place measures to stop them
-
PART FOUR: Final Story (written by Rea)
Lastly, let's bring together everything you've learned from these activities into one final story!
Before starting, consider the effects of time travel and how it could affect the future. Then, going off of one of the timelines you've plotted (either linear or non-linear, it's your choice!) and the butterfly effect activity, write a grand story with time travel elements incorporated into it Make sure to check for plot holes and be careful to stay within the boundaries set by the mechanics of time travel in your world! You must write a minimum of 750 words.
-
OUTRO (written by Alia)
OUTRO (written by Alia)
That’s it for this first weekly! To earn 2,500 points for your cabin for this weekly:
- Write 400 words using the butterfly method, with one catalyst event and three outcome timelines with 100 words each
- Plot 5 points on a linear timeline, expanding on each one with 100 words for a total of 500 words
- Outline a non-linear timeline in 250 words
- Write a 750 word story using your timeline, considering how the events in your story will affect the future
Make sure to comment with a link to your weekly in the main cabin by March 9th 11:59 p.m. UTC to claim points! We hope you have an amazing ride on your journey through time! Have fun <33

Um third, somehow?
This seems fun! Can't wait to do random things with time travel physics hehe. Watch as my character shows someone an iPhone and starts the Salem witch trails.

EVENT :: A mysterious device that can end the world is found.
~
Outcome I
They calmly study it and figure out how exactly it activates, careful not to set it off. They try to disassemble it but are unsuccessful. After countless nights of sleep, they make something that looks like… Eh, whatever! Progress is being made. The thing is luckily breaking apart slowly, carefully, so the group can dispose of everything neatly as if nothing ever happened. Nobody will figure out that the end of the world almost happened… Right? Hahah… So they ignored it for a few days. Until the thing started slowly beeping. It was… distorted and quiet. But whatever. The numbers shone brightly, as it read three minutes. Most of the group sank into a state of pure panic as they watched. Some couldn’t even bare to look. It was destroyed moments after, leaving several slightly or mildly injured. Nobody d1ed, fortunately.

Outcome II
They ignore it for most of the time until it seems to be counting down, beeping rapidly as the time ticks down. This is the point in time where the group starts to panic. After a few moments of screaming and… laughing? Whatever… Everyone eventually calmed down. They slowly but surely started to disassemble it, being extra careful around some ends. It was a success, and everyone was still alive in the end. Though, the question is… Why are they doing this? Is there really a point?… In… Doing all of this stuff? Just to stay alive? That’s the only reason? It was a waste of time anyways. Some of the group starts working on an escape plan, while the others (Kai being one in specific) could care less about it. They’ve grown quite used to this place, so leaving it would probably leave an effect on how they see the outside world.

Outcome III
A wave of panic washes over the group. One rapidly throws it without a second thought as it smashes into a wall and breaks into a bunch of pieces. Well, that was easy! Tch, that isn’t even half of what happened. An argument starts, explaining that the thing could be dangerous and stuff like that. Nobody really cares. Everyone is tired and angry at each other, alright? Some are tired and angry at themselves! Their sanity is just not okay, the stress has been piling on top of them since day one. Do they fail? The answer to that question shall remain unknown.
It was thrown out, they succeeded.

Chapter 6
Plot point one: A small meeting is called by Kai. (suspense, rising action)
Plot point two: They start talking about things involving why they’re here (continued suspense, rising action)
Plot point three: Too much information comes out and it all goes wild. (climax)
Plot point four: At least one person cares and reassures Kai that it’ll be fine (falling action)
Plot point five: The chapter ends with a cliffhanger and a note (end)
Plot point words :: 53
Elaborating on each
Point I, 108 Words
Kai rounds up the group (Consisting of about seven to eight people, including themselves) for a small meeting. Kai is refusing to explain why they called the meeting because it seems unreasonable, and in their eyes, is a waste of time. It will slow down the process of explaining stuff. Most are confused about what’s going on due to lack of sleep, a couple are angry because they’re here, some genuinely have no clue how to feel about the meeting being called in general for some reason. At last, when everyone has stopped complaining and Kai has gotten their full attention, they start to slowly and worriedly explain.
Point II, 105 Words
They are talking about who ‘they’ are, they is/are a mysterious person/people revealed back in Chapter Four, what the meaning of all of this (taking people against their own will to benefit off of something and to feel good about themselves for once), when is everyone going to get out, which is a very difficult question to answer, where in the world is everyone going to go after this, since they all lost their way, and why they are all here in the first place. And the final question, The How. How will the end of the world, actually be stopped from happening?
Point III, 106 Words
Kai reveals way too much about ‘them’, at the end, this is going to get intense. Kai says something like ‘My family honestly meant no harm, I swear. I, of all people, should have known that!’. They start panicking and Ann repeats her actions in Chapter 4 by bombarding Kai with questions, such as ‘What do you mean, your freaking family!?’. The others are trying to stay out of this, but it all becomes too much for Kai and they have a complete outburst in front of everyone. Saying stuff like ‘IT WASN’T MY FAULT’ and ‘THIS WAS ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE’, stuff like that.
Point IV, 111 Words
Flint, being a good friend and good person in general, decides to attempt to drag Kai out of the mess they’re in by defending them. This was done by arguing with the others. He seems to be successful with his argument, as the others have separated and the argument has been put to an end. After all of that is over, he takes Kai over to wherever the two were chatting back in Chapter 5, and he reassures them that it was never their fault for anything, they did this for a good cause, and everything will be fine. Kai is very overwhelmed with emotions, so they do cry a little.
Point V, 105 Words
Then, Flint notices a small note on the wall behind Kai’s head. He pulls them a little closer to himself so he can take the note off the wall. It reads ‘We’re coming back.’ and Flint is genuinely confused and worried for the stake of the future. Flint hesitantly shows Kai the note, and Kai starts laughing to try and calm themselves down-. They refuse to believe the note is real because they think it’s from ‘them’. Kai is genuinely losing their mind over this. They don’t want to deal with any of this, not now and not ever. A loud crashing noise is heard.

Part 3
Rough outline, 57 words
Chapter 7, When and Where
The loud crash seems to startle everyone, as they crowd around two new people. They introduce themselves as time travelers from the past (roughly 2012, this novel takes place in 2024) and explains that their time machine had malfunctioned. But yeah, the two are from 2007. This coincidentally happens to be when a certain event took place.
Outline, 221 Words
(1)First scene chronologically: Startled by the noise, the group goes to investigate. They find two people on the floor. They sit up and look around.
(4)The time travelers start working on the way back, which is insanely weird since they have limited supplies.
(7)Kai demands them to get out, and luckily, in the span of not even a day, they’ve built their way back.
(2)Kai helps the two up calmly as the others stare in shock. The time travelers keep their names a complete secret, as they aren’t really supposed to be here.
(5)While Kai eavesdrops on their (the time travelers’) conversation, they hear stuff like ‘We can’t expose ourselves’ and ‘Jeez, who knew the future was so…’ Whatever, Kai just shrugs it off until one of them says something.
(3)The others get to know the time travelers better, which is a good thing. But still, their names are never brought up.
(6)Kai spills everything, now the group had figured out the identity of the two. The travelers… Were the ones claimed to be ‘them’ in Kai’s journal.
(8)Final scene chronologically: Before the two leave, one places a mysterious device down on a small desk. A faint beeping noise can be heard from it, and the two leave. The group is left confused until Kai realizes: “The end of the world.”
Part 4, 995 Words
(1)
Chapter 7, When and Where
“WHAT IN THE WORLD?” I exclaim as I pull away from the half hug slowly. I turn my head to peek around the corner and my eyes widen in shock. “How in the actual… universe did THAT happen-?”
Flint raises an eyebrow. “What do you mean?” He asks, confused.
“…These people just appeared out of nowhere! I have no clue what happened, but I’ll just… Deal with this problem myself.” I sigh.
“Who knows what they’re capable of though?” He seems… Concerned? No, why would he be concerned about this? Is he worried about me getting hurt or something-? That’s absurd.
“I’ll be fine, I promise.” I place a hand on his shoulder for a brief moment and then, realizing what I’m doing, pull it away. “I- Yeah, I’ll be fine…”
He just nods in response and smiles slightly. “Okay then, if you say so.”
(2)
The rest are already surrounding the two. “How great.” I mutter sarcastically. I lightly push a couple of others out of the way and help the two up.
“So, why are you two here anyways?” I ask, brushing my hands off.
“We just-“ One starts, but they go silent after a while. They clear their throat and continue after a small moment of silence. “Our time machine broke down, so we just happen to be stuck here for a while…” They don’t seem impressed by the place. As expected.
The second one, on the other hand, is looking at the place in awe. “Whoa! What in the- This place looks… What’s the word for it- Right. It’s a quite mysterious place.”
“Yes, it is.” I nod. “Anyways, your names?”
“Ahem… We’d rather keep that information private, thank you very much.” The first one snaps, grabbing the second’s hand.
(3)
“So…” I start, dragging both of them with me. “What year are you two from, anyways?”
“2012, why-?” The second seems to be somewhat confused with my reaction, which is a mix of shock, and also confusion.
“Well, ahem. Congratulations, you’re in the future.” I mutter sarcastically with a very, very forced smile.
“The future!?” The first exclaims. I can’t tell what expression is stuck on their face. Fear, sadness, anger? Are they happy-? Jeez, I’m too busy guessing to even think straight.
“Yes. Do I need to repeat it? You’ve traveled twelve years into the future.”
“Twelve- So… Oh wow. This is so… weird.” The first one continues, and they proceed to drag the second one into the corner. They pull out a box of things to start working.
(4)
They just seem to be working on the way back. I decide not to disturb them though, as it seems important. I’m not going to attempt to get information about them at this exact moment though. I’m being impatient though. It seems as if I need information about them at this exact moment. I just can’t let them stay this secretive, even if they’re only staying for a while. They could be getting in the way of my plan… And I can’t risk that stuff happening. They can’t just act like this forever. I’ll catch onto them later… No matter what it takes.
(5)
Whatever. Just a little bit of eavesdropping couldn’t hurt anyone. Right?… I just sit back and listen.
“We can’t just go out there and expose ourselves like that, (Name)!” The first one exclaims. “We can’t just risk putting ourselves in danger like that.”
“(Name), you need to calm down… Please. The future is weird, I know! But we just need to keep a low cover… This was your idea, don’t go and blame me for all of your problems!”
“Oh, you did not just go there.” The first one gives the second a stare that shuts them up.
I seem to be confused about what they’re talking about, before the second one says something that they seem to instantly regret.
“But we can’t have them figuring out anything! It’s too dangerous!”
(6)
No. No, no, no. They can’t be ‘them’. Right? Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh… I manage to get the other’s attention and I start talking about everything.
“Them. It’s ‘them’. Flint found a note, and then these two appeared out of nowhere, I listened to their conversation and I- I should’ve known… I should’ve known that all of this was going to happen.”
Just then, Ann starts speaking once again. “Who’s ‘them’.”
“Them. The ones who-… Oh, gosh. No, no, no… We’re in danger and it’s all my fault-.” I’m just panicking at this point. It’s all just a bunch of stuff getting to me, I need to calm down somehow.
(7)
I walk on over to the two. They’ve somewhat managed to create a little thing that should magically send them back.
“You have to leave. Now.” I demand.
The first one smiles. “So, you listened to our conversation. You eavesdropped, and you figured out our identities. Didn’t you… Kai.”
The second one seems worried, and they speak in a low voice. “I-… Let’s just go home, okay-!? I can’t deal with this, I’m done.” They raised their voice with that last part, and I seem to have… Realized something.
The first one rolls their eyes and scoffs. “What do you mean, you’re done?”
The second one glares at them. “You know exactly what I mean.”
(8)
Just then, the first one smiles and places a small device down on the small desk in front of me. The second one’s eyes widens in shock as they try to form words.
“No, you just can’t-.” But they’re interrupted.
“Oh, yes I can.” They press the small button and it sends them home. Good riddance. All in the span of six hours. I can hear a faint beeping noise… I turn back to the others, as they stare in confusion. I look back at the device as I seem to be… Tearing up, why am I upset-?
“…Oh gosh. The end of the world.”

Luna's Weekly 1
#1: The next day, Naomi wakes up in a new place. It didn't look like the same apartment she was used to waking up in. Instead, there were walls of gold and she was currently laying in a queen-sized bed. She looked over and saw a huge mirror made out of diamonds, turned around and saw marvelous paintings of royals, then looked at her side to see a closet full of fancy dresses. Soon, a maid walked into the room telling her that it was time to wake up. Naomi looked at her, confused. But seeing the luxury around her, she decided to play along and got ready. The maid insisted to help Naomi get ready, but she refused and asked the maid to exit the room. It was all too much to process for Naomi. There was only one thought racing in her mind right now: “What exactly was going on?” (151 words)
#2: Naomi realizes that she has switched bodies with a royal princess and that she'll have to adjust to life in the kingdom. Unfortunately, Naomi has bad habits and it won't be long until her mother realizes the change in her behavior. Apparently, the girl she's being is a princess named Giselle. Giselle is a girl who is well disciplined, graceful, smart, and talented in dancing. Naomi? Not so much… As she realizes that Giselle and herself are polar opposites, it won't go well for Naomi if she attempts to be like Giselle. That's when Naomi blurts out her problem to the maid that had woken her up. The maid gladly introduces herself as Cora and tells Naomi not to tell anybody else about her secret. So Naomi agrees and Cora decides to make up a plan to get Naomi back to the place she belongs. However, Naomi doesn't know that she may be set for a chaotic adventure. (158 words)
#3: Meanwhile, back in Naomi's apartment. A confused Giselle wakes up in a new body, she doesn't look like herself and Giselle looks shocked to see how different the world looks. As she looks outside Naomi's apartment in amazement, she finds cars, skyscrapers, and many modern things that she had never seen back in her kingdom life. She looks in the mirror to realize that she has switched lives with someone else, and that's when Naomi's phone starts ringing. Giselle picks it up, only to see two girls on the screen. They tell her that she's about to be late for class and that she promised to come to class this time instead of skipping it. Being the polite girl Giselle is, she tells the two girls that she's getting ready and will be there in a minute or two and somehow hangs up despite being confused about the controls of Naomi's phone. Giselle has no idea what happened, but the day before she may have made the same wish Naomi did… (171 words)

It's been about time that she has some time to do something she really enjoys. At the weekend, Naomi joins her friends in riding horses along with engaging in conversations that last forever. The three of them keep horse riding until they get exhausted and decide it's time to take a break. They go out into the field and look at the stars. Genevieve points out that a shooting star flies by and insists the other two to make a wish. They all close their eyes and put their hands together, Naomi is a bit hesitant about this choice. But seeing that Caroline decided to do it as well, she imitated the other two's actions. “I wish I could be able to live in a world where I belonged, not a world where I have to deal with stress every day. It's not that hard, right?” Naomi said in her mind. She opened her eyes and took a deep breath, the three friends decide to call it a day and Naomi drives back home to her apartment. Part 1
Part 2
Plot point one: Shimmer arrives at the camp and meets the Cerberus (rising action??)
Plot point two: starts first training, seems to impress the moody trainer (rising action)
Plot point three: mean teacher's pet mocks her (suspense, rising action)
Plot point four: Shimmer wins, then becomes friends with Dense (I don't know, rising action?)
Plot point five: Becomes friends with Cerberus, and they all become a team (climax)
Plot point one: It was the big day. The day I was waiting for, waiting for, purely waiting for from the day that I was born. I had been training my combat skills, my survival skills and everything. Once I found that the YNFST (Young Naturian Fight Survival Team) were taking on scouts, I signed up and got in. The competition was tough — it was like every next challenge got harder! Looking back at the beginning, it was a piece of cake, ooh, thinking about cake, I'd take up a good Victorian sponge…
Right, apologies. Let's keep going. We did rock climbing, survival swimming, weaponry combat, and archery; it was all extremely exhilarating.
Anyhow, I got into the top ten, which I was very proud of, and we came to our last challenge. It was the one and only, Lake Tag. This was where we got paired up with the other nine survivors, one of them would be taken down to the bottom of the lake, they were given a s3d4t1ve potion of course, and then the other partner had to come and rescue them. The roles would switch and the three teams — so six people — to get through would be landing a position in the YNFST. It was difficult since the only gear we had was a swimsuit and a help-gunner that would announce to the hosts that we were in danger. In the end, our team, hooray, got through and some others! I was so proud of myself.
To the point, today I am going to be arriving at the training grounds for my first session, how amazing is that?
Right now I am driving to thereby Bubble Mage, some transportation like a ‘taksi’ (is that it?) only by sea. It's not really like one of those ‘boyts’ (I do not know if I'm saying these Human World objects right…) though. It's much faster and you can get to your destination in minutes.
Wait! Finally, I'm here. I thanked the driver for the safe journey and wished them a good day while making sure I got all of my stuff. 2 bags and 1 purse: yep! I creep inside and let my eyes devour the beautiful views. It looked like a fictitious castle from a book. However, instead of a butler at the door, I'm welcomed by a fierce Cerberus. Its flame-orange eyes glare at me, while it snarls with the sharpest of teeth. I gulp as I feel goosebumps coming my way.
“G-good doggy…?” I mutter, closing my eyes, ready for a terrifying roar…Nothing. It just casually licks my face, spreading gross saliva everywhere. No way, I'm out of here! I mumble under my breath while taking a run for it. Well, that was unpredictable.
Plot point two:
(adding more soon!)
Part 1
Event, in which I glamorously introduce our main character:(118 words)
El Alcalde is a very busy man. He is the mayor of the luxurious town that goes by the name of Pueblo de Lámparas, meaning the town of lights. All the townspeople live a merry life in their lightened homes, all thanks to the El Alcalde. However, people do not notice how the gift-giving mayor is sad. How would he have been? Since he lives in a grand, beautiful chateau filled with dangling chandeliers, all the food he wants is handed to him on a golden plate — how can you become so sad? The problem is, he is lonely in such a great house like his. Well, that loneliness is also solved on this particular day.
#1, in which Lilia comes in:(206 words)
The mayor woke up, restful and ready to start his day with his usual duties. Firstly, El Alcalde plodded down the never-ending, spiralling staircase to his dressing room. There loomed over him the giant wardrobe with a countless number of clothes. The man put on his usual rich attire and went downstairs once again. After seven flights of stairs, El Alcalde reached the lavatory and dropped in for a calming bath.
However, out of the mirror, somehow jumped in a Demonio-child (mythological creatures that obsess over recking poor households) and started praising their rather haunting reflection.
“OMG, hello, hello, king! Oopsies, am I disturbing you? Soz.” The cursed child asked with a sassy, snob-like tone.
“Excuse me?” El Alcalde responded, horrified.
“Ohmigosh. I didn't even introduce myself, well my name is Lirio Descarado, but you can call me Lilia. You probs know this already, but like I'm one of those Demonio-kids, you know?”
The mayor looked at the Deminio-child in total confusion and yelped, “What are you going to do?”
“Oh, don't be scared hon. I'm just gonna like stay at your home for a bit, 'kay? Thanks, cutie!” The only thing El Alcalde had on his mind was: What on earth is going on?
#2, in which the relationship between the characters gets ‘better’:(341 words)
Later, El Alcalde sat down for his breakfast — some delicate, mouth-watering pancakes with the finest drizzle of syrup on and topped with ripe, juicy berries. He sat on his throne and gobbled it down. Even so, the gentleman was accompanied by Lilia again. She made herself at home, getting slightly too comfortable. The Demonio had somehow found the chocolate fountain and dipped a croissant into it.
“Oh heyyyyy! Oh my gosh, yas. That breakfast looks amaze. I'm just chillin' with my croissant, it's so DE-LI-CIOUS! By the way, I might've crashed your fridge on my way to the kitchen, hope it's not a problem, and I'm sure it's not. Bye, thanks munchkin.” Then they rushed over to poor, concerned El Alcalde and gave him a head pat as if he were their own ‘adorbs doggy’.
After the meal, the mayor decided to drive around town and make sure everyone's problems were solved, and, you probably guessed by now, Lilia joined him too. El Alcalde was in the driving seat (he discouraged the idea of buying a personal driver since he thought it was slavery) and the Demonio-child was calmly sitting in the front as well. They were painting their nails with flamboyant colours and snazzy patterns.
El Alcalde volunteered at the orphanage, yet, unsurprisingly, the cursed child followed him there. They were giving the orphans a pep talk on confidence, which all the children astonishingly encouraged.
El Alcalde went to help in a garage sale and Lilia came too; she bought a smelly perfume labelled ‘Purrfecto’. The thing she didn't read though was that the perfume was made for cats.
This kept going on for about a week until El Alcalde finally snapped. He snarled, “I don't mean any aggression towards you, but I do not respect the fact that you do not follow my privacy rights, which is unacceptable. In my time, I have met many unusual creatures, who would be disturbing me after at least a bit, and you stay. You do not have some special conditions, alright?”
#3, in which the story comes to a nice end:(221 words)
Lillia seemed taken aback; she blinked furiously and slightly frowned.
“Oh. I thought I was just completing my duties as a — ” She suddenly stopped and took a breath, then mumbled, “Demonio-child. I thought that you would like it if I gave you company, y—y'know? I didn't know…” This child starts acting very emotional when you bring up their duties, as you can see. They turned around and blew their nose enthusiastically while crying into the tissue.
“I sincerely apologize… Sweetheart, I didn't think you would, well, react this way. Now, tell me what is it?” Surprised with himself, even, El Alcalde whispered warmly. The Demonio-child explained that she never really wanted to be a Demonio-child, all she wanted to do was help adults and bring happiness to children's adorable faces (she loved children).
“Ah, that explains it. Well, I'm glad you want to help, not destruct.” The man exclaimed and then chuckled heartily.
“Yep!” she answered, “But, I don't know what I can do to help!”
El Alcalde smiled and explained to Lillia, “Kindness, is your answer. Be kind to everyone and you'll get a gift back; someone being kind to you.”
Eventually, Lillia became well-known for her kindness and loyalty in the town, that they even built a statue for her. Then, it was all a happily ever after.

Iri's Weekly #1! ✰ SWC Mar '23 ✰ Thrillerftw!!!
Part 1 : Time Travel Mechanics
Event :
Carmen stood at her mirror. She fixed her short curly dark brown hair over and over again, but still wouldn't be satisfied.
“Carmen, come on! We're going to be late!”
Carmen sighed dramatically. “Fine. I'm coming!” She pouted at the mirror before grabbing her small bag.
Carmen's sister was sitting at the kitchen table with her legs crossed. Her long blonde hair twirled around her shoulders and she glared at Carmen with a smug look. “I don't understand why it takes you thirty minutes to fix your hair. It's not like you're going anywhere important.”
Carmen bit her tongue and had to make an important decision. One that she had to force herself to make every single morning. Should she yell at Harper and have no regrets later on, keep quiet and pretend to not hear her at all, or maybe she should just throw the cat at her instead. That would be much more fun.
(Words : 156)
Outcome #1 Yell at Harper and have no regrets :
Carmen shook her head. “Harper. Don't even try. I've put up with your backtalk every single morning and I'm sick of it! Could you just please leave me alone?”
Harper stood up and stepped toward Carmen. “I am your older sister and I can treat you anyway I like to. Understand?”
Carmen stared into her hazel eyes rather bravely. “I don't get to be bossed around by you. Not by anyone, but especially you, Harper. Understand?” She smirked. Her mother came in. her hair was in a wild bun, but she didn't seem to care.
“All right, girls. Are you ready?” She asked. (Words : 103)
Outcome #2 Keep quiet and pretend to not hear her at all :
Carmen walked right past Harper and grabbed an apple from the basket on the island.
“Earth to Carmen! You're being chewed out by your older sister!” Harper waved her hands in front of Carmen's face to get her attention, but it just wouldn't do the trick.
Carmen happily ate her granny smith apple and grinned at Harper as she grabbed her bag. “Oh, hey, Harper! Oh, I love that sweater. It's gorgeous.” She smiled and walked away leaving Harper completely dumbfounded. Carmen felt rather proud of herself for ignoring Harper and not letting her anger kick in like she normally did. Then her mother came in. Her hair was in a wild bun, but she didn't seem to care.
“All right, girls. Are you ready?” She asked. (Words : 127)
Outcome #3 Throw the cat at her instead :
Carmen bit her tongue and glanced down at the ground when she heard the calico housecat, Nilly meow. A bright idea popped into her head. It may have been risky, but very malicious which was right up her alleyway. Carmen knelt down and casually picked up the cat.
“Cuddling with Nilly won't make me pity you.” Harper said.
“I'm not cuddling her. She's my weapon!” Carmen threw the cat at Harper and heard her scream.
“Mom! Mom! Carmen threw the cat at me!” Harper cried.
“Oh, geez. The cat just wanted to cuddle with you. That's all. Right, Nilly?” Carmen laughed. Her mother came in. Her hair was in a wild bun, but she didn't seem to care.
“Harper! Get that cat off of you! We're going to be late!” She said. (Words : 132)
Part 2 : Plotting Timelines
Exposition : Tina goes on a road trip
I throw on my favorite sky blue hoodie and put my jet black hair into a high bun. I even added two pink hair clips in to keep my hair from falling into my dark brown eyes. I packed my beloved teddy bear and blanket before running out into the living room. “I'm ready.” I said with a smile.
My mother looked at me. “Tina…you look like you just rolled out of bed.”
I rolled my eyes. “No one's going to see me.”
“Okay, but you look awful.”
“But I-”
“No buts, Tina. You're getting dressed now.”
I sighed dramatically, but I obeyed nonetheless without any further complaints. (Words : 109)
Rising Action : Tina stopes at a Gas Station and finds a missing wallet on a shelf.
Once I put on some decent looking jeans, I threw on a different hoodie and put my hair on a ponytail, then I ran out to the car. My mother and father approved of my changed appearance and so I happily sat in the backseat of the car.
“So before we get to our destination, we have to do a detour to a Gas Station.”
I groaned, but I knew I couldn't change the plans, so I kept my mouth shut as they drove to a Gas Station.
“Tina, go inside and grab a few snacks.” My mother told me.
“I have to go alone?” I whined.
“Yes. And go quickly!”
“But-”
“No buts!” My father interrupted.
I stomped out of the car after my mother handed me ten dollars. I quickly ran inside and grabbed a few snacks so I could rush back to the car. But then I found a random wallet with no price tag. (Words : 151)
Climax : Tina strikes the police's attention.
I picked up the wallet and ran back out to the car.
“Hey! Little girl! Stop!”
“TINA, WHAT ON EARTH DID YOU DO?!?!”
I showed my parents the wallet. “I-I found this!”
“I heard the sound of sirens and immediately went into a meltdown.
The cops pulled up and made a beeline toward me. ”Put your hands up, miss and /don't/ try to back talk. You'll only make it harder on yourself."
I didn't feel like back talking, anyways because my face was soaked in tears. The cops pried the wallet out of my hands while my mother and father just watched with open mouths. (Words : 106)
Falling Action : Tina is eventually safe from the police.
I looked at my mother first. “Mama-help me.” I pleaded, but she didn't move. I looked at my father next. “Papa-”
“Silence, girl. Answer these couple of questions, then and only then we may decide to let you go.”
I obeyed reluctantly. Obviously my parents weren't going to help me, so I had to somehow do it all by myself.
“Where did you first see this wallet?”
“I found it on a shelf.” I said.
The cop nodded as he jotted some notes down. “Okay. And why did you decide to steal it?”
“I stole it because I-I was scared, okay? I'm only thirteen years old!”
The cop nodded and looked at the other cops who nodded in synchronization. “Sorry miss. This was all a big misunderstanding.”(Words : 122)
Resolution : Tina and her parents are back on the trip!
The cops saluted my father and shook my mothers hand as respect and I was able to go. Well, that was one interesting road trip stop. I gasped loudly which caught my parents' attention. “I forgot the snacks!” I said.
My parents shook their heads and laughed. “Oh, Tina. Always full of entertainment.” They both said.
I smiled and opened the backseat of the car and hopped inside. I strapped myself in and grabbed my book. But instead of grabbing my book, it was a letter. A black letter with a red rose stamp clamping it closed. And mysteriously, very very intriguing. (Words : 103)

Part 3 : Outlining a Non-Linear Storyline Draft
Carmen and Harper are going camping for Harper's birthday. Carmen goes off exploring after getting into a harsh argument with her sister. She wanders off a bit too far and something reminds her of the past. She then goes down a dreadful downward spiral that sends her into a horrifying phase in her life. (Words : 54)
Carmen and Harper set off for their spring break camping trip/Harper's birthday. They load up in the car as excited as two little puppies on their first day to the beach.
Harper is first to brag about how fun it'll be, since it's her birthday, after all, so she of course is the first one to bring it up.
Carmen ignores Harper at first since it's Harper's eighteenth birthday. She tries to keep her emotions under control, but Harper just wouldn't stop being annoying. It was kind of irritating.
Carmen eventually lets her anger finally kick in and builds up a harsh argument that goes a bit too far off the deep end. She argues to Harper about how unfair it is that she always gets what she wants.
With Carmen upset and Harper in tears, Carmen storms off into the woods to clear her mind. Carmen couldn't control her mind and now with Harper having a bad day, she became a bit guilty.
Carmen wandered away a bit and becomes dizzy for no clear reason. She stumbled against a tree to catch her breath, but that did no good, so she fell to the floor with no hope at all.
A flashback interrupts Carmen's mind and she spirals out of control. She even goes too much toward the deep end because she stumbles and looses conscious for a bit.
Every moment leading up to the very end all ties in together to produce a cliffhanger in the conclusion statement. (Words : 251)
Part 4 : Final Story
Carmen and Harper ran over to the car and took their designated seats with happy smiles. It was Harper's 18th birthday, so of course she was excited. Carmen was excited because she got to go camping. Camping meant that had had no regulations. No one got to tell her what to do. There was no bedtime. No curfew, and especially no boundaries when it came to exploring out in the wilderness. The car started moving and their mother turned around to face the two teenage girls with a smile.
“You ready, girls?” She asked.
“Yes. I'm stoked!” Harper said.
“I can't wait!” Carmen said. Carmen buckled herself in and got her phone from her bag. She also pulled out her headphones and listened to some good music to get her into the adventurous mood. Camping was a time of reckless behavior. She could literally do whatever she wanted and wouldn't get in trouble for it. She even tied her extremely curly hair in a high ponytail so that it wouldn't get ruined from all of the roughhousing.
“Hey, Carmen. Can you believe it's my eighteenth birthday?” Harper asked.
Carmen took out her earbud. “Yeah. It's so exciting! You can take me to all sorts of places now!”
“Oh, come on. You think I'll let you off the hook that easily?” Harper teased.
“But why not? You're eighteen. I'm sixteen. Why can't we have a bit of fun when we get back home? Skip school and go out to shop at the mall and get some smoothies? Doesn't that sound like fun?!” Carmen asked.
Harper sighed. “You don't get it, do you? Now that I'm eighteen, that means I can do whatever I want. I can take myself places without having you around.”
Carmen laughed. “Yeah right. Like you'd never leave without me.” She put her headphones back in and they pulled up to the campsite. Carmen jumped out of the car and took a deep breath. She breathed in the crisp air that lingered all around her like misty fog hovering over the trees.
“You act like you haven't been outside in ages, vampire.” Harper said.
“I act like I'm enjoying the wilderness, princess.” Carmen snapped with a smile.
Harper scoffed and walked away.
Carmen chased after her. “Yo, Harper, wait! Come on. It was a joke.”
“I'm not mad.” Harper replied.
“Well then why'd you walk away?” Carmen asked, curiously.
“Because I don't have to be your little sidekick all the time!”
Carmen looked at her like she was crazy. “Harper-I'm sorry.”
“Don't apologize. You've done enough!” Harper walked away again, but Carmen refused to let her sister be angry without her actually having something to do with it. “What do you want, Carmen?”
“I think you owe me an apology. Oh, no it's fine. I don't need your pity, Harper. Sure it's you birthday, but that doesn't mean you can act all grown up! You're still my older sister and I like to spend time with you!”
“Oh, you need to grow up, Carmen! You're too scared to admit that you just don't want to be alone!”
“So what?!” Carmen shook her head and stormed off. She wandered into the woods behind her and took a deep breath and exhaled to calm herself down. But something was off. A memory clicked in her mind that took her way back into the past. A past memory that she had wanted to get rid of. A past memory that she'd thought she had gotten rid of…
The flashback had brought her to the memory of the time when she and Harper were little toddlers. Harper had already matured like she was fifteen instead of five and teased Carmen about it. Sure it was just a little kid joke, but it stung Carmen in the guts. So badly that she stumbled and fell to the ground. You'll never be good enough to be on my level. I'll always be more brave than you, Carmen. I know everything and you know nothing. Nothing. Nothing. That word rung through her head like a bell that had chimed and wouldn't seem to stop. It didn't leave Carmen's head even though she tried so hard to get it to go away. Her head began to spin and she caught herself on a tree. What's happening to me? She thought as she stumbled down completely to the floor. No. Make it stop. Carmen pleaded to herself. Whatever was happening wasn't good and Carmen felt like it would last for all eternity. part 1
LE GRAND EVENT: Little Timmy Smith is exploring a dusty old library, when suddenly he comes across a book called ‘Time Travel In 30 Seconds’. Fascinated, he pulls the book out of the bookshelf, and opens it. Suddenly, the ANCIENT librarian comes running over to him, yelling, “Sonny! Don't open that book!” But it's too late. Timmy realizes his mistake. A dark blue blob comes out of the book, and inside is a… what is that? Timmy leans forward to see more, and he sees a merry town that looks nothing like his own large city. Curious to learn more, Timmy tentatively sticks an arm into the portal. Timmy is sucked into a portal, and he screams and screams and screams as he falls into nothingness. A robotic voice says, “The 1800s.” Timmy pales, terrified. What awaits him in this new (or rather, old world?
SCENARIO UNO: Timmy gapes at this place, thunderstruck. The 1800s? Was that where he was? He looks around, and then; panic sinks in. The full terror of his situation begins to come to him. He was STUCK IN THE 1800S!! He wasn't sure if there was even a way out! Timmy starts hyperventilating, and runs around. He is sure he looks like an insane person, but right now? He couldn't care less. He runs into a frail old woman, and then stops abruptly. “Dear boy!” The old woman says, looking appalled, “I'm ashamed of you! Running into an innocent woman like me!” “S-sorry, ma'am.” Timmy says, looking down at his feet. Suddenly, a transformation begins to take form. The woman turns into a beautiful maiden, with a pale blue silk robe on. Her eyes are a chocolate brown, and her skin is of the most enchanting caramel color. Timmy is sure he is in the presence of a goddess. The goddess scoffs at him. “Right.” She says, “You are sorry. But now, you must pay for your evil.” Timmy pales, and with the flick of her hand, the goddess turns Timmy into nothing more than an unassuming cockroach. The goddess snickers. “Now, you will learn how it feels like to be stepped on, Little Timmy.”
SCENARIO TWO: Timmy's head was throbbing wildly, and he sat down on a bench near him to calm himself down. Suddenly, he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever set eyes on in front of him. She had enchanting azure eyes, and she had a fair, pale complexion. Soft curls framed her petite head, and her hair was a rich, chocolate - like brown, with gold and red highlights that were brought out in the sunlight. She wore a ravishing gown of a deep lavender, and Timmy, without warning, found himself walking up to her, saying, “Hello.” The woman's eyes set on him, and her gaze was serious and regal. “Hello” She said sweetly, smiling at him, “Can I help you with something?” “I-” Timmy started, “I would like nothing more than for you to give me the pleasure of your company.” “Of course!” The woman said, beaming at him. She hooked her arm through his, and quite soon, their friendship blossomed. One night, the pair took a walk in the moonlight, and Timmy said to Allegra (the beautiful woman), “Allegra. You are, without a doubt, the most wonderful woman I have ever met. And I love you.” Allegra's eyes grew wide, and she said, “Oh Timmy. If only you had said this sooner! I love you as well, and I have since the moment I set eyes on you.” Soon after, they got married, and their wedding was filled with lavender flowers and crystal chandeliers. But above all, their wedding was filled with love and happiness.
SCENARIO THREE: “Hello. I couldn't help but notice that you just fell out of the sky.” A jovial voice said, paired with a pair of brown eyes and a plump, kind face. Permanent dimples were around his face, like he was a person that smiled too much. Timmy laughed, saying, “Yes, yes. Of course I did.” On the inside, Timmy's heart was racing. He had just fallen out of the sky!! Life as he knew it was very different from what he had been raised to believe. “I'm William” The man said, “William Shakespeare.” Timmy was shocked, but he hid it well. “Hello William!” He said. They became close friends, and then the bad things started to happen. First, William began to realize Timmy's talent in play writing. Then, Timmy started writing William's plays. But William took credit for them. Soon, Timmy was fed up with it. He couldn't STAND it when people took credit for his genious! Calling the police, Timmy said to them, “I am the true writer of William Shakespeare's plays. Arrest him for fraud immediately!” The police did so, and Timmy was happy again.

PLOT POINT UNO: Madame Aimee LeBlanc was a very influential figure. She was beautiful and wealthy, but above all, she was married to the duke of Ketterdam, which was a small town off the coast of France. Madame LeBlanc was sitting in her room, her servants and maids styling her brown hair into miniscule braids which were then piled into a bun on the top of her head. She was wearing a navy blue gown that matched her dark complexion perfectly, and layers of wispy tulle framed her petite figure. As people brushed blush onto her cheeks and spread peach colored gloss onto her lips. Madame LeBlanc was so invested in her getting ready for a large party she and her husband were hosting, she was quite unaware of the danger that lurked near her… (introduction)
PLOT POINT TWO: “Hello, Aimee!” A chirpy voice behind Madame LeBlanc said cheerily, “How are you on this fine evening?” “Oh, hello Marie. Quite well, thank you,” Madame LeBlanc said smoothly and in a regal manner, “Can I help you with something?” “Oh no, I just wanted to talk to you,” Marie said, “How is life treating you?” “Very well,” Madame LeBlanc responded, “And for you?” “Just swell,” Marie said, jumping on the balls of her feet, “And - oh dearest Aimee - I've just gotten engaged!” “Have you?” Madame LeBlanc said proudly, “Well, good for you!” “Why, thank you!” Marie said back. Suddenly, Madame LeBlanc had a troubling feeling, like there were rocks in her stomach. Something was off. “Aimee,” Marie said worriedly, “Are you all right? You look ill.” “No,” Madame LeBlanc replied, “I - I'm just I -” Then the lights went out. (introduction, rising action)
PLOT POINT TRES: A voice rang out through the darkness and confusion, saying; “EITHER GIVE US A HOSTAGE OR YOUR MONEY!” A shiver rocked Madame LeBlanc's shoulders as she swayed feverishly. Her head was pounding, and fear shook her body. Her best instinct was to run away - far, far, away, but she knew she couldn't do that. Someone said, “I shall be the hostage! Take me.” It took Madame LeBlanc a couple of moments to realize that the sound came from her. The lights turned back on. One of the three kidnappers barked, “Who said that?” Madame LeBlanc raised a shaky hand. The kidnappers walked over and grabbed her. She was doomed. (climax)
PLOT POINT FOUR: Madame LeBlanc was currently locked in a dark, musty, cellar. She wasn't sure if there was any way out. Her stomach cramped painfully. Her captors had simply shoved her in a tan sack and then put her in the trunk of a car and then drove away, to who knows where. She was still in the car. Madame LeBlanc, thought carefully, as she was still in the sack, and she needed a way out. She had a knife in her boot (in case she ever needed to defend herself - this was something nobody knew about her), and she figured she could cut a hole out of the beige sack. Slipping the knife into her fingers, she slowly cut a hole in the sack. (falling action)
PLOT POINT FIVE: She crawled out of the sack and sat in the trunk. Slowly, she opened the trunk, and hopped out of the car. Running back to her mansion (because, of course, they hadn't gone very far yet - it had only been around 3-4 minutes), she was blissful and ecstatic. She was going back home! Something that, just two minutes ago, she wasn't sure she would be able to do. When she reached her house, she flung open the doors with glee, and said, “Honey! I'm home!” A pale faced man, Madame LeBlanc's husband, came down the stairs, his face a ghostly white. “Aimee?” He said softly, “Is that really you?” “Yes!” Madame LeBlanc said joyfully, “It's me! I'm home.” (resolution)

part 4
Timmy was sitting in a dusty old library, flipping through boring books, uninterested. A big book was propped up on a shelf, titled, “Time Travel In 30 Seconds”. Fascinated, Timmy found himself in some sort of trance, and he slowly stepped towards the book. Taking it off the shelf, he started to flip open the ancient, yellowing pages, when the elderly female librarian ran towards him, commanding, “Sonny! Don't open that book!” But it was too late. The book open, a black and navy blue blob-like shape emerged from it. The force coming from it was irresistible, and Timmy was sucked into the book. He found himself in a jovial, jolly town. Where was he? Cream colored buildings lined the sidewalks, and beautiful, embellished chariots pulled by strong, muscular horses of shades of brown hobbled along the stone sidewalks. He wandered around for a bit, taking in every sight of this new place, this new world, and then he saw it. (WRITE ABOUT SOMETHING THAT PROVES HE IS IN THE 1800S!)He began to hyperventilate, the world swaying. The reality of his situation began to sink in. “AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” He screamed, running back and forth, scared out of his wits, “Help me! Please!!” Then, without warning, he ran into a frail old woman, with almond eyes and pale white skin. Timmy was immediately frightened by her. An essence of power radiated off of her.The old lady scolded him, saying, “Shame on you, sonny! Running into elderly people like that!” “I - I…” Timmy started, but the old woman cut him off. Suddenly, a transformation began. She lifted into the sky, mumbling words quietly, waving her hands. Suddenly, a flash of light appeared, and she was lowered to the ground. She had turned into a beautiful goddess, with smooth skin like caramel, and eyes like chocolate. Lavender robes hung off her, draping her petite figure in layers of beautiful, enchanting tulle. Jeweled, sparkling necklaces hung off of her neck, and golden bangles off her arms. Waves of voluminous, flowing brown hair framed her face, hints of auburn and gold glinting in the sunlight. She stared unforgivingly at Timmy, her wide eyes seeing into his soul. “You have angered me.” She began, “You do not take time to be in the present, and you have discovered a terrible secret. You know that if you go back, you will never be the same. As both a punishment, and for your well being, me, along with the other gods believe that you should pay for your evil deeds.” “No!” Timmy shrieked, “No, please!” “I'm sorry,” the goddess said, her eyes icy, “It's too late.” With a flick of her wrist, Timmy transformed as well, and was nothing more than a slimy, disgusting frog. Then - He (accidentally, may I add) runs into a frail, innocent, old woman
Tenth - The old woman is very insulted that Timmy ran into her, and because of this, she decides to punish him
Next - Timmy watches as the old woman turns into a beautiful goddess
Twelfth - The goddess lectures Timmy on staying in the present and being careful
Thirteenth - Timmy is ashamed, but he is too arrogant to say it
Fourteenth - The goddess doesn't like this, so she punishes him
Finally - The goddess turns Timmy into a slimy, repulsive frog, and he has to live in a swamp from this day on
Kuro's Weekly No.1
EVENT :
Humming a light-hearted tune, Marianna strolled through the meadow, smiling brightly as she weaved through the tall grass which beckoned her further into the wilderness. She was told not to venture far from the gate of her village, but there was just something intriguing about the way the distant forest that called to her, telling her to come closer. Her brown curls were gently blown around from the occasional gust as Marianna paused, glancing back towards her village then to the woodlands. Multiple ideas ran through her mind which was busy as a beehive when the girl paused, her tune stopping along with her rapid-fire thoughts.
OUTCOME 1 :
She reaches out a hand, squinting as she places it just above the sunlit trees of the forest, covering the canopy before retracting her hand back again. Perhaps not today, she thinks out loud. Gripping onto the sides of her dress, she steadily made her way back to the village entrance, casting one last glance at the towering trees in the distance before walking into the town. Wooden doors slammed shut loudly behind her, closing off the wilderness from view once again. She could come back to the meadows anyway, but she was not quite brave enough to venture further.
OUTCOME 2:
Something suddenly rustled behind her, and Marianna is instantly stiffening at the sound of snarling. She slowly turns around, spotting a pair of foxes with their jaws wide open, but these were not normal foxes. Their fangs were sharper, longer than one of a normal fox and a snake-like thrashed vigorously behind them, its brown eyes twinkling in excitement as they padded closer to the lone girl. Marianna steps backwards anxiously, tripping on a branch and falling down on the muddy ground. Both of the mutant foxes' eyes gleamed gleefully as one of them let out a loud bark, calling the rest of its packmates. .
OUTCOME 3:
Marianna let out a long sigh, staring wistfully at the woodlands before her foot moved forward one after the other, before she knew it, she was standing at the edge of the forest. Shafts of light dappled the earthy ground and small critters scurried across the ground. Her eyes widened as she stepped into the forest. Her surroundings were completely different than the one she knew as home, green wilderness was sprawling everywhere - it was an untamed landscape, one that a few dared to journey into. She began to move forward once more, brown eyes rounding in curiosity of everything around her. Her gaze danced across the muddy ground, and she smiled, seemingly indifferent to the fact that this was a region away from where humanity resided in.

Plot Point 1 : Billy is forced outside into the balcony of an old tower.
Blindfolded, the young boy stumbles around as he gets shoved by two pairs of rough hands. He hears a slight creak before a door gets blown open, then, he is roughly thrown into the balcony of the tower. Billy winces when he hits the ground. His blindfold is ripped off and he is dazzled by the bright light, squinting at the open skies. After being kept in the dark for so long, he is momentarily stunned when he tries to stand. The doors slam shut behind him, leaving him alone. Billy can hear the creaking of the old tower as regains his balance and slowly stands.
Plot Point 2 : Man-eating birds circle the tower and Billy stiffens.
At first, he seems relieved that he is free from the claws of his captives at long last, but the momentary relief turns into fear when Billy hears the loud screeching of birds above him. He rubs his wrists. Red marks can be seen when Billy fumbles around, searching for somewhere to hide. The man-eating creatures above the boy seem to be taunting him, cackling loudly as they swoop down and back up, narrowly avoiding him. Realization crossed his mind that he was now a plaything of these beasts. He can hear his heartbeat pound loudly in his chest, shuddering as the hair on his neck raises up.
Plot Point 3 : With no weapon at hand, Billy tries to slowly retreat back into the tower.
He glances down at his hands, scarred from the months be had spent within the prison, working for his captives. Billy's clothing is now merely rags, a grim expression appears on his face as he begins to step backwards, one step at a time. Slowly, he turns around, making a sprint back into the tower. He bangs on the door as the screeching behind him grows louder. Billy grabs the large door hand, twisting and turning it, but to no avail. Panic instills itself into his mind, his brown eyes darting back and forth between the door and the mutant animals.
Plot Point 4 : Seeing no way back, Billy grabs a nearby stick to defend himself.
The door suddenly vanishes before him and Billy stumbles backwards in surprise. Hands now trembling, he grabs onto a nearby stick and stone, the only items he can see on the balcony. Both the stick and stone were sharp, but to say that he could actually fend off the birds was a whole other story. The birds began to dive at the boy as he waves around his stick in a menacing way. Out of surprise, Billy scrapes the stick against the wooden walls, causing it to burst ablaze. The birds squawk loudly, now in a more anxious manner before swooping back to their positions in the sky.
Plot Point 5 : He wakes up in cold sweat.
Smoke quickly rises from the tower and Billy lays down on the cold floor, huffing heavily. It didn't take long for the smoke to engulf his vision before all went black…
Billy wakes up, sitting up in panic before banging his head against a metal tray. “Oh, you're finally awake.” said a feminine voice. Thinking that he is back in the prison, he raises his hands to defend himself before the voice speaks again. “Nightmare again?” She asks him in a gentle tone. The voice sounds familiar, thinks Billy before his vision clears. “Anastasia!” He now beams brightly at the taller figure who smiles warmly back at him.

Anastasia, the maid nods towards the younger boy before placing a tray on the bedside table. “Here,” she says, raising a cup of warm milk and slowly bringing it towards Billy. Billy looks gratefully at Anastasia, taking the cup and gulping it down within a few mere moments. His head is still fuzzy from the nightmare, but he still smiles widely at her when she gently places the cup back on the tray. “I'll be back in a bit.”
Billy tries to reply, but clamps his mouth shut when Anastasia exits in a hurry. He looks slightly confused although he does not say anything about it. Billy yawns before pulling the covers over his head once more. Not quite long after, Billy drifts to sleep once again… The loud screech of a bird startles him when he enters the dreamland, but this time, a curious expression appears, and he reaches out towards the glowing creature.
The bird seems to have spotted him, but there was no fear or anxiety visible within its void-like gaze, rather it held an expression of many years of wisdom as it hopped away before taking flight. Billy scrambled after, chasing it until the landscape around him molded into one of a city. “Wait!” He shouts. His leathery clothing instantly changed to rags once he entered, the bird now pauses and stares at him as if beckoning him to come closer.
Suddenly, Billy felt shorter as he moved through the large cityscape, but he was still determined nonetheless to follow after the flying creature. He slowly halted when the bird stopped moving. Billy's gaze was curious as he stared out towards where the bird was staring. And out there in that busy marketplace, he saw the small figure of a girl with brown hair. She was crying but looked oddly familiar though Billy didn't understand why. Three men in armor shoved the girl roughly and Billy was about to run after until he came about a broken mirror.
The mirror showed a reflection of himself - though it was not him at all… or was it? He paused; confusion now visible on his face. But after hearing the cry of the girl again. He began to sprint as he weaved through the ground, huffing and puffing. - Time skip to the next day, Billy is sitting outside of a shabby prison-like area, and he can hear the girl sniffling inside. Guards are patrolling the corridors, and Billy is nervous.
He has to make a decision sooner or later.
Once the corridor is empty, Billy makes a run for it, reaching where the girl was in no time at all. Thick bars separated the two, but luckily, the door was unlocked, so he made it through quite easily. The girl looks up whilst a tear-stained skirt. She seems to be mumbling something under her breath, but Billy does not hear what exactly. He reaches out a hand, but the girl remains silent and unmoving, shuddering slightly from the cold. He frowns, unsure of what else to do, and what else to say.
He lets out a sigh, closing his eyes.
When he opens them, he is greeted by a bright light. He is now standing in a fancy outfit, one that the wealthy would buy and wear. He scrunches up his face before looking around. The brown-haired girl is visible now again, but she now has a healthier appearance with a slight scar running down from her cheek to her jawline. Billy walks over slowly, this time deciding to engage in a conversation. “Greetings there, uh - miss.” The girl looks startled, and merely nods in acknowledgement. Well, looked like that approach didn't work. He bites down on his lip. Billy feels like something is off before he starts rubbing his eye when it starts itching.
And once again, once he opens his eyes, he finds himself in a different area all together.
This time he sees a girl sitting next to him and smiling. The scent of burnt wood and paper greets him, and Billy mumbles something. “What a strange day.” He sits up, grunting, and wiping off the sweat from his forehead. He is feeling lightheaded and lays back down with his blanket only barely covering his lower half.
“Indeed, my dear friend,” replies the brown-haired girl.
“Right, Anastasia.”
The two lock eyes once more, and a light twinkle dancing in her eyes. “Sometimes, this world is truly enchanting.” Billy responds with a slight nod before uttering, “True indeed.”

i. event
she raised her head to the sky, the rain starting to drip from the darkening clouds above. she hadn't prepared for this, the weather app said it wasn't supposed to rain till friday! alas, you cannot trust weather apps these days. where was she supposed to go? she wasn't about to walk another three miles to her house in the rain, but she didn't have any money on her to ride a bus. regrettably, the former option seemed to be the only thing she could do. oh, why had she visited the park today? her mother was at work right now, and all her friends… well, she didn't have many friends, to put it simply. what could she ever do?
ii. outcome walk in the rain
there was no other option, she had to walk home. in the rain. she hoped it wouldn't storm anytime soon. nobody was going to help her, and certainly not for free. three miles… three miles… she sighed. there was no complaining, none at all. so many other people had suffered way worse than her, and here she was complaining about walking three miles in the rain. she would be fine. her mother had once walked eight miles in a blizzard, her father had done ten in the same. she would brave the rain, for what use was a feeble youngster than would shape the world in the future, so to say?
iii. outcome some nice person
there was no other option, she had to walk home. in the rain. she hoped it wouldn't storm anytime soon. nobody was going to help her, and certainly not for free. three mil— screech! a car wheel slid into her vision. somebody rolled down their window from within their black tesla and beckoned her to come in. they wore shades, a black mask… in fact, everything they wore was black… emo?!* and she couldn't trust this stranger, why would she? nobody was to trust strangers in this day and age. but she was desperate at that moment, and all she wanted to do was to head home, even if it meant taking a ride with a stranger. as she got in the car, she realized that the driver was someone she recognized. in fact, he was—
iv. outcome become a criminal*
there was no other option, she had to walk home. in the rain. she hoped it wouldn't storm anytime soon. nobody was going to help her, and certainly not for free… wait. a lightbulb went ding in her head. sometimes, you had to be the bigger person. she would have to do it. she would have to take that risk. she would have to call a taxi and make her way home, but not pay the driver… or she could just get them the money once she was in the house… wait why didn't she think of that earlier?!?!

i. plot point intro
she gently stepped into car, on guard. she was thankful for the stranger assisting her in this trying time, but she would still be cautious of anything peculiar. however, one could not forget common manners. she made sure not to drip any rainwater onto what looked like newly cleaned seat covers. the dim blue lighting of the dark car gave her an eerie feel, especially with the rain and night incoming, but the driver, whoever they were, didn't lock the door when she slowly closed it. she felt safer now—perhaps they were just some random nice person and not a kidnapper. they didn't utter one word of reassurance to her, just a single jerk of their head—asking where to drop her off. “err, could you stop at washington park please?”
ii. plot point rising action
they drove in silence, manuvering the quiet streets. it was quite awkward, with nobody talking. she wasn't sure if she should start a conversation, would they even respond? the fact that she didn't even know their gender was one thing, who was this person? she couldn't stop the delusional ideas that were flying through her mind as she sat, staring out the abysmal windows. she couldn't take ot anymore.
iii. plot point climax
iv. plot point falling action
v. plot point no resolution only cliffhanger

WEEKLY 01
WC TOTAL 2362
Weekly Part 01.
600 WC
A shattered world, where time was nothing at all. Imagine living in three worlds at once–ones that were nothing alike. Imagine living in one world where the skies cried tears of diamonds, where there were those who could see into the minds of others, and were hunted for their powers.
Imagine living in yet another, where the seas are green like emeralds, and the grass is blue like the sky. Where the day is nothing more than a never ending sunset.
And yet one more, where stars come to visit every day, with more intentions than they’re rather say.
That was the world Ana lived in- a world no one shared, a world that was only her own. And yet, it was not hers at all.
This world belonged to everyone but her, and no one knew her.
There were rarely times when the same thing happened in all three worlds at once–often, everything was different, and Ana could hardly comprehend anything that happened–but sometimes, if she was very lucky, one thing happened–and three things resulted.
Today was one of those lucky days, although Ana wasn’t entirely sure the event that had launched the results was a lucky event.
Today, the museum had burst into flames.
Three things had happened.
Here is the story.
Outcome One : Disaster
Though Ana was rarely at fault for anything, the first world was not kind to her. As she stared at the museum–one which proved to be different in every world, yet always in the same place, as though it were a constant she could not explain–she felt something dark awaken within her. She knew this feeling, the feeling that something was going to happen, something that would cost her something large. Perhaps her life. She wondered what would happen, were she to lose her life in this world. She’d never done that before. Perhaps it would be helpful, give her the freedom to live as she wished in only two other worlds, and not worry about who she was in so many at a time.
She had never tried, because she’d been too scared.
She was even more scared now.
She watched the museum burst into flames, watched it burn, burn, down, down. Watched it until it was completely gone.
Until the skies began to cry, and the diamonds began to cut into her skin, never putting out the flames, seemingly only fueling them.
She ran, ran, until she was safe.
And then she heard the calls in the distance, the hunters, coming for her.
She was going to die, and there was nothing she could do.
She ran.

Outcome Three : Darkness
The stars had abandoned the skies, leaving nothing but darkness above. Golden flames rose from the museum, and Ana could only wonder what they had done to have drawn the wrath of the stars.
All the stars.

Everything was broken.
Her soul felt heavy, and she knew what was happening here, too.
The stars were taking them.
Taking them where?
To the stars.
Anywhere but here.
Anywhere and everywhere.
And she was ready. Ready, at last, to leave.

Point One: in three shattered worlds, three terrible things happen
The First
Ana runs from the hunters, the symbol on her shoulder glowing. She hides the symbol, and runs out into the rain again, but it cuts into her skin, and, rather than hiding her, it doesn’t help her at all–instead, people yell after her, helping the hunters find her.
The Second
Just when Ana thinks she is safe, the museum fire grows larger, throwing her away in a massive explosion. She is knocked unconscious, and that is all she knows before darkness.
The Third
The stars take Ana to a place she does not understand, one with gilded cages and golden skies. She watches as they destroy everything below, and cannot understand why. Why would they do this? What have they done?
Point Two: in three shattered worlds, three new friends appear
The First
Ana bumps into a girl named Peka, who also has the mark on her shoulder, and has the same abilities as she does. Peka is mysterious, but keeps her alive- and that is as much as Ana could ask for.
The Second
Ana awakes to a boy standing above her, with water. She assumes that it’s the same time, but she can’t be sure. The boy helps her, and keeps her awake. He says his name is Thibault, and he helps drag her away from the ruins.
The Third
Ana is thrown into a gilded cage, with no idea as to what is happening, right next to a boy named Alai. She asks if he knows what is going on, but he does not.
Point Three: in three shattered worlds, three hunters are relentless
The First
Peka and Ana both run from the hunters together, but they are not the normal hunters–they have magic swirling around them in green. Ana assumes the worst, and Peka takes her to her hideout.
The Second
Thibault, the boy, brings her to a nearby store, explains to her that it was nothing more than an accident, but the gut feeling in her stomach says otherwise. The same hunters begin to chase them, setting off a wild chase.
The Third
The stars are wreaking havoc on the world below as Ana speaks with Alai. Alai seems afraid, like her, and, though Ana is the one looking for the mages, Alai is the first one who notices them. She shrieks as they tear her from her cage, and pull her through a portal. Then, suddenly, all three of her worlds become one.
Point Four: in three shattered worlds, the mirror breaks, making one, yet also making all
Ana walks through three worlds at once, seeing all three of her selves and friends at once, as though from the third person. She becomes the narrator of her own story, seeing three paths, but not living them out herself. She hears voices, perhaps the voices of someone keeping her where she is. She watches as she and Peka run, as she and Thibault flee, as she and Alai scream. And there is nothing she can do, except control herself like a video game avatar. She feels lost, wherever she is, like she is in a realm full of mirrors all around, screens she is watching her own life on.
Point Five: in one shattered world, ruin ensues
Though Ana wishes everything would simply become quiet, everything gets worse. Buildings begin to cave in on one another, crossing through the mirrors into the other worlds. Ana can only control herself as though she is an avatar, not her own person. She watches three horrible things happen at once- She and Peka are forced to enter each other's' minds, seeing everything that has ever happened to them. For people with their abilities, that is torture. In another world, she and Thibault are thrown to the ground, are cuffed and caught, and are thrown into a river. In another world, she and Alai are taken by the mages- and plummet to the ground. Why does everyone wish to harm her?

Final scene: Ana confronts the mages, asking them why they turned the stars against them, and why they tore up their world in such a way. She is furious, sobbing, mourning some kind of loss.
Alai reveals that he can fly, a rare but known trait in this world, and rescues Ana from Death and his demons.
Peka escapes her mind, crumpling into pieces, sobbing in the sharp rain, as both are trapped, seemingly unable to escape.
Thibault and Ana almost drown, until one mage rescues them, unknown to them–they are unconscious.
Ana screams at a mage, asking why they are doing such a thing to their friends. The mages refuse to answer, but tell her they are not attempting to harm her, or her friends.
Alai escapes Death, but for a price- he betrays Ana to the mages, who then turn her over to Death.
Though the mage rescued Ana and Thibault, he only did so so that he could bring them to Death himself. Ana tries to ask why, but his only answer is that he must.
Ana shrieks, asking why they wish to kill her, breaking down into screams. They tell her that it must be–it simply must–she is simply too dangerous to be kept alive.
Ana dies in that timeline, dead now in two, her heart shattering.
The mage kills her himself, leaving only Thibault, Alai, and Peka alive to mourn her

“How can I save them?” Ana sobbed.
“You still wish to save the ones who betrayed you in such a way?” Asked the mage, as though he had never heard such an idea.
“They are my friends.” She cried, turning back to the mirror. Watching Peka die slowly in the sharp, sharp diamond rain. Watching Thibault run from Death himself, Death, who chased him relentlessly. She cried for Alai, even knowing what he had done. He felt guilt, and she saw it. Saw it on these shattered looking glasses all around her, saw him wondering what had gone wrong.
Everything was so wrong.
Everything was wrong.
“Please.” She whispered. “Tell me how I can save them.”
The mage shook his head. “You are a danger. I cannot allow you to go back, cannot allow you to stop what has begun.”
“I am the danger–then let me save them. They did nothing. If all you need is me, then let them go. Save them.”
Eerie whispers rose around the mage’s figure. Tall and demanding.
“We accept.”
“Thank you.” She said. “Thank you. How can I help them?”
“There is one way. Ana Sarai Debali, I grant you the gift of linear travel. Do you understand what that means?”
“Time travel,” She whispered, “so I can save my friends before it ever begins.”
“As soon as you do, you will return, and you will give your soul to Death. Be mindful that anything you do will change the timelines.”
“Oh yes,” she looked the mage straight in his eerie, piercing blue eyes, “that’s what I plan on.”
And then, before he could say otherwise, Ana ran.
She knew how to linear travel almost like she knew how to breathe, as though it were yet another part of her, just as mirror travel had been. Three parts. Three paths. That was all she needed to know.
She would come back to the fourth one and give her soul up to Death, just as the mage had said.
But for now, she had these three to focus on.
The first.
Peka.
Before the fire had ever begun, Peka had been wandering nearby. Not just wandering–thieving. She stole from a nearby store, and eyed the skies with wary eyes. Yet, for some reason, she refused to step away, to find shelter.
That was the moment the museum burst into flames.
No.
No.
Ana could not allow this to happen.
She went further. Further back. Ten minutes earlier.
Even now, she could feel herself watching.
She hadn’t already been watching.
Perhaps it was not herself, but Death.
He wanted her.
But not yet. He couldn’t have her yet.
Ten minutes before, and Peka wasn’t quite prepared to steal yet. She was sitting on the steps of the museum, alone.
Ana saw herself, walking through the markets. Soon, she would be standing in front of the museum, wondering what had happened.
Ana could not interfere with herself, but she could interfere with Peka, and get her as far away as she possibly could.
Nervous, she waited until her past self had passed on, and then she went to speak with Peka.
“Hello.” She said, trying to get her attention, though Peka was looking down.
“Oh, hello.” Peka looked up at her. “What do you need?”
“I’ve just noticed that this might not be the best place for you to be sitting–not with those clouds rolling in.”
Peka looked at the sky.
“I’ll move in a few minutes. Leave me alone, if you please.”
“I know you’re like me.” Ana whispered. She leaned down, revealed her mark.
“How did you know?”
“I just do. And I know you need to leave.”
“Please stop talking to me.” Peka whispered.
She moved to the markets.
Thieving.
Ana had started this.
Was there any way to undo it?
She looked to the skies, to the looming clouds, and faced Death.
“Help me.” She whispered.
Death was not so kind.
He simply watched.
She had set this into motion, so perhaps she could find something that could stop the fire in the first place.
Or perhaps that was her fault, too.
Nothing seemed to work.
She wanted to cry.
All of this was her fault.
All of it.
She returned to Death, heart in her hands.
“Take me.” She whispered. “But do it long before I had a chance to become dangerous. Go back and take my soul–the soul of a child. Take it, before my world split into three, before I saw everything.”
And so Death obliged.
He held out his hand, beckoning her to join him in Hell.
She took it.
And then all
was
black.

She ran.
Ran.
She was not safe.
Outcome Two : Peace
The turmoil within her did not match those around her. Green water poured over the fire, dumped from helicopters of matching colors, and

WEEKLY #1
TOTAL WORDS FOR WHOLE WEEKLY: 4430
PART 1: 485 WORDS
Event: Arley returns to Migalia
Arley Wilson had recently noticed a small shimmer of scales on his skin, and had been on a series of adventures around Aurodo, what he assumed was his hometown. One evening, he sat alone in his room, with the ring in his hand. He expected that if he put it on, it would do something strange, considering what he had to go through to get it, and how he learned about it. He packed a bag of supplies, and put the ruby ring on his finger. He saw a mix of red light, before appearing in Migalia, a land of reptiles. As soon as he entered this strange world, he knew that this was where he belonged.
WORDS: 117
#1: Clair and Paulo try to find out where Arley has gone and why
Clair Wilson finds that Arley, her twin brother, has disappeared in the night without a trace. She tells his best friend Paulo, and the two of them set out to try and find where he went. After a few days of researching, they find a temple, which contains one of the rings. They succeed, and find the other one they need. They put them on, and get to Migalia, and quickly meet Madison, a non-binary human who disappeared three years prior, in the same way the twins and Paulo had. Madison accompanied Cosmo, a chameleon who was trying to get them home. It's not long before they find Arley, and get Cosmo's ring. Now that they have all five, the can freely travel between worlds, and reunite Paulo and Madison with their families, and find the twins' real parents, who are geckos who had to send their children away due to a prophecy and the fear of it coming true.
WORDS: 160
#2: Everyone assumes Arley has run away
After finding that her twin brother Arley has disappeared, Clair assumes that he's run away, as he had been acting rather mysterious recently. The rings meant for Clair and Paulo, Arley's best friend, were never known to exist, so nobody ever set foot in the temples for them. This meant that the rings were never reunited, so Arley and Madison could never return home. Thus, Arley was never seen again, and as Clair reverts to her gecko form over time, the government catch wind of an extra-terrestrial. Eventually, she is caught, and experimented on. They never reunite, and she never sees daylight again.
WORDS: 103
#3: Only Clair tries to find out what happened to Arley
Clair finds that her twin brother has gone missing, and starts to research where he went and why. After a few days, she discovers knowledge of the rings, and sets out to get hers. As soon as she gets it, she puts it on, and sees flashes of blue light, until she arrives in Migalia, and has gone missing, just like Arley. This meant that the rings never reunite, as Paulo never finds his. Thus, Clair, Arley and Madison never return to Earth, despite the twins returning to their real parents. Even though after three years, it seemed unlikely that Madison would ever return anyway.
WORDS: 105
PART 2: 838 WORDS
EXPOSITION: Clair: Clair finds that Arley is missing, siblings assume he’s run away but can’t figure out why. Clair refuses to believe it since he never showed any signs of wanting to. She tells Paulo on the way to school, who refuses to believe that Arley is missing as he knew nothing of it, but she knows there is something more to it. A few days later, Maddie’s disappearance is in the paper as it’s exactly 3 years since she went missing, and it’s said that people are questioning whether it’s got something to do with Arley’s. Clair searches through Arley’s things, and finds a library book on the supernatural, then reads it. She heads over to ask how he got this and is led to a collection of books on strange events, all referencing a multiverse. She finds a map within everything, for the five swirling rings, which are meant to transport the user to another universe. Clair texts Paulo to meet her there and they start to figure everything out, and Paulo starts to see that it all makes sense.
WORDS = 180
DEVELOPMENT: Paulo: Paulo notices a small shimmer on Clair's skin, and they both try to hide it. They consult the books but don’t find anything about anthropomorphic lizards. They knows that they must find everything out soon, and she starts to hide away in case others features start to show. That night, they head out, but don’t find anything until sunrise, when Paulo sees something on one of the trees in the woods. It’s a button, and it opens up an underground chamber. They head down, and find species from all over the multiverse, sleeping in water chambers, and a journal, which talks about the swirling rings. They wait a few days until skipping school for a day to find the smoky quartz trials. They end up back in the woods, and Paulo solves a puzzle to open up a secret passageway to an underground labyrinth. They head down.
WORDS = 148
CRISIS #1: They travel through the labyrinth, which involves battling their first lizards and otherworldly creatures. There’s a button at each symbol that they need to press to get to the centre and complete it. Each one changes the labyrinth, while still making it possible to get to the next button, or the centre if all buttons have been pressed. Eventually, they reach the centre. They head to the third and final trial. There’s a pedestal with a cube with strange patterns all over it, floating just above it. When Paulo walks up to it and touches it, the pieces fall apart and Clair is sucked into the next part of the room, and can’t escape. It's a box puzzle, but the pieces start constantly changing shape after a while. As he puts pieces in, the piece appears in the cube Clair is in, and eventually he gives up, after realising that he'll kill her if he continues, when the door opens and they receive the first ring. They decide it’s best to not put it on until they have the next one, just in case it zaps him away. They head up to the surface.
WORDS = 194
CRISIS #2: Clair: Clair and Paulo study the maps to try and figure out where the next ring is. They head out straight after school, hoping to be done by morning this time. By the time they get to the cemetery, it’s late afternoon, but the moment they step through the gates, everything goes dark. Paulo stays by her side, but can’t speak. Clair leads them through to a statue, which turns and opens to an underground chamber, which they head down into. The candles ominously light themselves, and reveal a banquet, filled with all of Clair’s favourite foods, and she is drawn to it, but from spending so much time with Paulo, she now has some more logic, so when she’s about to touch it, she refrains herself from doing so, and passes through. She pushes the doors open, grabbing a sword from the racks on the side after she enters, knowing there is something dangerous ahead. Clair sees Paulo, who charges at her, and swings his hammer at her. She ducks, and notices a brown cloudiness in his eyes. She realises it’s not really him, and announces that she will refuse to fight him, even if it means failure.
WORDS = 199
RESOLUTION: Paulo returns to normal, and the door opens and they receive the second ring. Clair puts hers straight on due to her naivety, and is transported to Migalia. Once she's there, she comes across a giant snake, and is saved by Cosmo, who insists that she stays with him and his family. She wonders how long it will be until she can find Arley again, but has to wait for a while to regain her strength after all she'd been through in the last week or so. She tries to leave to try and find her twin, but Goggles, Cosmo's father, stops her, and says that they'll all go to find him when the time is right.
WORDS = 117
PART 3: 556 WORDS
SUMMARY: (Arley, Madison and Cosmo escape from the fight in Camp Percul, and Arley has returned to his true form as a gecko. They start to travel through the desert, until they're in Steriton, where they find Clair, who is in a half-human, half-gecko, state. They get to Forstopia after another few days, where they come across Paulo. They get into Forstopia, and King Edric tells them that he's been waiting to see them again, which confuses then. He tells them how to get home, but Koa stops them, causing the rings to not travel between worlds, but travel back in time. They warn Edric about Koa, and ask on how to return to their own timeline.)===BACKWARDS==
Not long after Arley arrives, he's rescued from a snake by another human, Madison, and a chameleon, Cosmo. As it turns out, Madison went missing after they found the Jade Ring three years prior, and hasn't been able to get home since. They take Arley in for a few days while they prepare to travel to Camp Percul.)===BACKWARDS==
Arley notices over time that his skin has started to give off a slight shimmer, and researches why, eventually learning about the swirling rings. He finds the Ruby Temple, gets the ring, and is transported to Migalia, a land of Lizards.)===FORWARDS==
When Arley, Madison and Cosmo arrive, Madison's and Arley's forms disturb the locals, and they accidentally start a fight.)===FORWARDS==
King Edric shows the five of them how to return to their own timeline, and makes a promise that when Koa comes along, he will not let her rise up the ranks. Once back in their own timeline, everything seems well, and they cut a piece of each ring out, and place it in the circle. This allows Madison and Paulo to return home, and Cosmo, Clair and Arley to return to their families, and in the twins' case, to find their true family.)

Part 1: Cosmo
The three of us run and place our backs flat against a wall, just as we hear some boom bugs exploding just behind us. I notice my companions are looking at me, and we decide to make a run for it. We meet dad and Skye just outside Camp Percul, the most dangerous town on the mainland, but it's not long before he goes bounding back into the fight, and returns moments later, driving our family dragon, Banjo. We quickly get in, and drive away instantly. But something's changed. Arley's skin has changed. That's if I could even call it skin in the first place. Since we met, it's been somewhere in between skin and scales, but now there's no skin left. A dark yellow-green, with dark brown spots, but I decide to keep quiet for now. He's been through a lot since we met only a few weeks ago. I feel more comfortable with him being in gecko form. One human in the family was strange enough. I look behind us to see the wreckage of the town, glad we got away when we did.
As the sun begins to set, I offer to drive until we get to Steriton, since it's only a few hours away. “Absolutely not.” dad replies, determined to drive the whole way from Tallatine to Forstopia.
“Come on. You've been driving every day. Let me take the reigns. Besides, Mads and-”
“I said no.” He stops the cart and turns to face me, pulling his goggles up onto his forehead. “Look,” he says, gesturing to the others, “they're all asleep. You need rest, too. It's too dangerous to stop now, and I don't want you to be alone. You're my responsibility. We need to get them both to Forstopia safely.” He pauses for a second, and smiles at me. “Don't worry about me. I'll get us there as soon as possible, then we can just stop for a few days, until pushing on to the forest. But I'll need you well-rested for then. Understood?”
I simply nod, curl up next to my strange family, and fall into a dreamless sleep.
When I wake, I'm under the cart. It seems that dad carried us all under to protect us from the sun, since Arley is still asleep. I quietly get up, and find the others stood just outside, talking about what's happening next. I have to wait a moment to allow my eyes to adjust to the bright environment, when Mads passes me a cup of iced water, and a handful of grasshopper legs. They're nice like that. I can really see how they've grown over the last few years. Sometimes I even forget how long it's been. We've had so many adventures by now, we've become almost inseparable. As I start to eat my breakfast, Arley climbs up from under the cart, and I pass him my cup of water, assuming that grasshopper legs aren't his ideal breakfast. But he doesn't take my offer, as he's seen something.
“What're you looking at?” Skye questions him, but I doubt he was listening.
“Oh, it's… uh… nothing. Just my imagination.”
“I doubt it.” I whisper under my breath, and I start to walk over to where he was looking.
“What are you doing?” Mads grabs my arm.
“Trying to see what he was looking at. I think it might've been Clair.”
“But he said that she was back on Earth.”
“Don't care. Investigating.” I say as I rush off, followed by my best friend.
As I reach the other end of the street, I catch sight of a gecko, who resembles Arley's new form. They notice me chasing after them, and break into a run. Just as they slow to turn around a bend, I throw my tongue out, wrapping it around their ankle. They fall, and turn to face me. And that's when I hear someone running up from behind me. They stop just before they come into my view, and when I turn around, it's Arley, who speaks to them: “Clar? What are you doing here?”
“Hey Arls.” She replies, emotionless.
This is Clair? I want to know how Arley know's it's his twin sister. They've both changed from humans to geckos since they last saw each other, and even though they look vaguely alike, their scales are completely different colours: Arley, a dark yellow-green, and Clair, a light grey. He introduces me and Madison, and we decide to head back to the cart, where dad questions where we've been for the last few minutes.
“Where have you lot been? Who's this?”
“This is Clair.” Arley points to his twin. “Clair, this is Skye, Cosmo's sister, and-”
“Wilfred Hackett, though you can call me Goggles.” dad finishes.
After a few days' rest, we decide it's best to leave the desert, and head off to Forstopia. We'll want to get through the Slaxe Rainforest as quickly as possible, since it's one of the most deadly places in Migalia. Having picked up one more, we trudge through the desert in the early morning, leaving another part of our adventure behind.
Part 2: Clair
Ever since I found Arley here, everything's felt better. We both know we're not human, but instead, Geckos. As crazy as this world is, I feel somewhat at home. In the distance, I can just about see the trees in the distance, and the closer we get, taller they seem to be. When we're only around a hundred metres from the treeline, Goggles stops the cart and turns around to face us.
“Now, listen up you six. The Salxe Rainforest is said to be the most dangerous place in Migalia. We'll need to watch our backs. Cosmo, Madison, take the reigns. I'll need to concentrate on what's going on around us. Arley, Clair, I'll want you to be at the ready to defend us.”
“What about me?” Skye chirps up.
“You have the most important job of all.” He replies, and puts our food stores on top of her, which she protests against.
“But… I can help.”
“I know, but you're younger, so you're more likely to be eaten. I'll let you know when we're there, okay.”
“Okay.” The small chameleon sighs. I don't get why she needs to hide under all of that, since she can just camouflage, but I know that Goggles knows best. He's been here for a lot longer than I have anyhow.
It doesn't take long for the light levels to drop to darkness, even though it's midday. It's incredibly humid, and I can sense the fauna, just waiting there to eat us. It only takes moments for us to run the cart over a snake, with Banjo the bearded dragon cowering. He breaks into a run, and I almost fall out of the cart. Goggles rushes over to help Cosmo and Madison with Banjo, with me holding on for dear life. We come to an abrupt halt, and I actually do fall out of the cart this time. Clutching the kitchen knife that Goggles gave me, I start to check to see any creatures nearby. Fortunately, I don't see any. Unfortunately, little do I know that there's one right behind me. I hear a shout, and turn to see… a floating knife?
It takes me a moment to realise it's Skye, completely camouflaged. She makes a quick slice, focussing the snake's attention onto her. I manage to distract it enough to allow us to get away, and we ride on to the city, and it's a magnificent view.
Atop a small peak, a city sits, with a magnificent castle at the very top. We steadily make our way up, but as soon as we arrive, we come across another human. I'm so glad to see him. The moment he turns to face me, we run and hug. “I'm so glad to see you.” I whisper into his ear.
“You too, Clay.”
It's Paulo, Arley's best friend, and someone whom I bonded with between his disappearance and us travelling here. He saw my scales starting to show, so I'm guessing my form isn't much of a surprise. When we show the guards our rings, they take us to the throne room, but don't let Goggles and Skye in, since they're not needed. Goggles reassures us that they'll find us in the square when we're done, but I am a little anxious as to why it's necessary that they stay outside. But I don't say anything, since from what I know, questions always get you into trouble.
When we get to the throne room, it's magnificent. The walls are lined with a blue tie-dye wallpaper, and there's marble flooring, and stone pillars holding up the ceiling. We walk forwards, and kneel. Arley speaks first. “King Edric, it is an honour to be here. I am Arley Wilson, and this is my twin sister Clair. We believe we are originally from this land, but were sent away to Earth when we were young. With us, we have Madison Sallow and Paulo Silva Costa, both of which are humans, from Earth. This is Cosmo Hackett, a chameleon from Tallatine. We have the five swirling rings and need to send Madison and Paulo home. Any help you can offer is greatly accepted.”
Part 3: Paulo
“I can get the two of you home.” The king says, his voice bellowing throughout the large room. “But it is a little complicated. You see, the five rings must always stay in the same universe. No matter what, they will always try and stay together. If you wish to return home, you must all to to Earth. Do you accept the consequences of this, with the possibility that you may never return?”
I think long and hard about this. I've only been away from home for a few weeks, but Madison, who I met only half an hour ago, has been gone for years. It's best if we return home, but Clay and Arls need to find who their true family are; it's the whole reason we came here.
“Look, I really don't think this is-”
“We'll do it.” The four of them say in unison.
“Don't you understand what this means?”
“Of course we do.” Clair approaches me. “But we need to get you and Madison home. They've been gone for so long, it's important that their parents know that they're safe.”
“In that case, Koa, could you draw The Key?”
“Of course, my liege.”
I've only just noticed the gecko knelt by his side, who starts to draw a symbol on the ground. It's like a swirl, but with five symbols built in. I only recogise a few, but I assume they all relate to one of the rings. She tells us to step on the corresponding symbol, and when we do, there's a flash of light, and we're transported somewhere. I can't believe it. Already, I'm going home. The twins have sacrificed so much for me already, now they might never find their real family.
But something's not right. We're still in Migalia, but something's different. King Edric walks through the doors to the throne room, and yells at the top of his voice: “WHO ARE YOU?”
I try and be calm, but Clay beats me to it: “We're the kids, with the five swirling rings? We were supposed to be sent to Earth, but something's wrong.”
“Ah, I see.” Thankfully, he's much calmer now. “You must have been transported back in time. Simple mistake. Who drew The Key, exactly?”
“Your most trusted warrior, Koa, I think her name was.” Cosmo chirps up.
“Ah yes, I see. Well then, I will be sure to not let her rise up the ranks this time.”
“Thank you.” I say.
“Now, let me get you all back to your own time, then we can work on getting you back to Earth.”
He starts to draw the swirl again, but the symbols are all shifted.
Sure enough, when we all step on it, we're transported back to the present, and Koa's not there.
Part 4: Madison
Back in our own timeline, King Edric shows us how to get back to Earth, but warns us that, because of our trip back in time, it's certain that there's only enough energy to get us to Earth, not back.
“But there is another way. It would still be one-way, but you'd all be home, at least. And, I doubt that the power could hold for long enough.” He tells us, and I start to think that this is the end of knowing my best friends.
“Dad and Skye don't know where we are.” Cosmo says, “I can't go to Earth when they think we'll be straight back.”
It only takes moments for tears to start to form in our eyes. This is the end. I'm never going to see the others again. My parents will never get clarity if I stay, but if I leave, I'll never see them again. We all stand facing each other. It's been so long since I saw them, I've no idea what I'll do when I get there. Because no matter how much I want to keep living in this crazy fantasy, I could never do this to them.
I force myself to smile. “Well, I'm guessing this is goodbye. It's been nice knowing you, but someone's gotta go home and let everyone know where we've been for the last three years.”
I try looking into Cosmo's eyes, but I decide it's best to leave him until last. I try starting with Clair, since we've only known each other for a dew days, but we've still had each other's backs. “I'll miss you, Clair.” She smiles back, but we're both trying to hold it in. We know that the worst is yet to come.
Next is Arley. Ever since me and Cosmo rescued him from that snake, we've been such good friends. We pull into a hug, unable to transform our feelings into words. I feel tears start to fall down my cheeks, and we pull away, after a simple “farewell, old friend. I'll never forget you.”
But I don't want to face the final farewell. My best friend: Cosmo the chameleon. We're both sobbing at this point. It's simply too emotional.
“Cosmo. These last few years have been, and always will be, the best of my life. This adventure has changed me forever. You've changed me. You will always hold a special place in my heart.”
“And you in mine.”
Failing miserably to hold it together, we hug, but the others have to pull us apart.
“So, what do we need to do to return home?” Paulo asks, after saying his goodbyes to the twins.
“Place your rings on each of the spaces on this key.” Edric gestures to the one he just drew, and we do so. A portal opens up, and Paulo walks through. I'm about to step through, back to the place I used to call home, but I can't do it. I tell Paulo to tell my parents where I am, and that I'll never be back. He agrees to do so, and steps through. The portal closes. This is the place I call home now.
I could never leave it. Not now, not ever.

WORDS = 180
WORDS = 148
WORDS = 194
WORDS = 199
