Ah, your school is the kind that believes wikipedia is behind the fall of the roman empire, the black death, the spanish inquisition, the first world war, the great depression, the holocaust, and 9/11, is it?

At my school, one of the 7th grade helpers said that Wikipedia isn't a reliable source. She said that “my professor said so.” She also said that “people can edit the page.” That's the main point of a wiki in the first place: to edit, expand, and add information to an article, and you can also cite reliable sources to make the article more reliable. Her 8th grade class isn't allowed to use Wikipedia at all because her professor brainwashed her into thinking this, like an Orwellian dictatorship or something, so I resorted to using Justin B. Rye's website instead of Wikipedia during lunch time, and she's okay with it for some reason. I'm in 7th grade, by the way.

My school doesn't block Wikipedia, just one of my teachers said that it's not a reliable source. My web filter blocks certain articles such as a one on “Proxy War,” apparently.

One thing, if my school blocks English Wikipedia, then I can go into another wikipedia and use Google Translate to translate the content to English (but the translations will suck).

probably blocks “Proxy War” because it detects, “proxy” which is something that can be used to get around the filters, also you can cite Wikipedia's sources instead of Wikipedia itself

My school blocked replit because you can make proxies on there but i already made one that they cant block so now i can do pretty much anything on my school laptop

I need your guys' help with something, I updated ChromeOS and now I can't spam a single letter anymore, a little box thing pops up when I hold down a key and it is quite annoying, sure it's cool being able to type random characters æ, but it's still quite annoying and I want to disable it.

My chromebook has been having this issue where if I move it the wrong way, it just completely stops working, and apparently, the glitches aren't only visual.

I kid you not when I closed the lid, the worst sound I had heard in a while erupted from this thing's speakers, this thing decided to recreate the dang virtual exorcist, it was as if Vinny from Vinesauce possessed my chromebook and activated his passive.

The sound didn't last for long though, as my fingers practically flew over to the power key and the refresh key to force shutdown the tthing once I realized it didn't stop when I closed the lid.

TL;DR: My chromebook made the worst sound I'd heard all year, and i'm actually scared of it now.

Edit: Even though I absolutely hate talking about personal experiences, I'm keeping this up because I find it funny, also, this is basically just a vent post, as I don't expect technical help from anybody about this, as I'm not sure anything can be done really.

Edit 2: I have a new chromebook without any of the issues as the old one, I also took a picture of the thing when I still had it, here is said picture (sorry for androd quality):
