NOTE: This is not a guide.

The issue
I've been active on Scratch for about a year now,
yet I have only ever received one heart on a project I did.
I have eighteen followers and I do not get much views.

Methods I have tried
I have posted my projects on studios
I have added decent thumbnails to all my projects
I have intros and outros on my projects

Conclusion
I hope to gain followers and loves/favourites on my projects
through earning them, not advertising or f4f or anything like
that. If any of you could give me some methods, I would
greatly appreciate your help and dedication.

My method of getting followers is just being everywhere without spamming, trying being nice or being helpful and getting people to like you for being helpful/nice.

Just make good projects. Don't add intros (outros are probably fine) as they are generic and 90% of the time they will have more code than the actual project. And people just want to get straight to the project too, so intros are a no-go.

Be more active, participate in studios, comment on projects or on profiles, or in forums if you want then put your project as your signature (which is what i did). If more people sees you, more people will check your profile, then more people will see your project, click on it, like it, then finally follow you.

Try to talk to other people, be nice and maybe even make friends. Give Feedback look at other projects to get better, learn improve and try. Give Tips, try to help others out. You can though try Advertising a bit your projects. (No mass Advertising though)

All methods everyone said so far are the ones I suggest using, but sometimes posting shower thoughts on Griffpatch’s profile also works for some reason (I got my third most recent follow from that).

Here are some suggestions:

- Don't create intros / outros that are unskippable. (you don't even need it, I don't use it and I'm on the front page as of 17.2.23)
- Create projects that are the highest quality you can make it.

Here are some more difficult suggestions depending on the project:

- Make it mobile friendly so that more people can play your project (and possibly give it a love and fave)
- Add Japanese translations so that the Japanese community is able to play your project. (optional ig)

I used these tricks, and for the most part, I'm doing pretty well. My newest project attained 852 loves in 5~6 days.
